The Flames' amateur scouting meetings kicked off Tuesday at the 'Dome, where President of Hockey Ops Don Maloney officially announced Craig Conroy as the team's new GM.

It should be noted that it’s crucial for Conroy to immediately immerse himself in the end of June 2023 amateur draft while Brad Treliving if hired by another team cannot involve himself in their draft process.
