Thanks for the video. I am from Port Talbot and never walked from the Angel to the beach, will have to give it a try. When I was in my teens I almost drowned at Morfa. Did not go in far but the current was so strong I could not get back in, was a nightmare. Thought it was all over as I was exhausted but was lucky to feel the floor with my foot and I managed to climb out. Never again lol.

Those coke ovens (which was the first section of plant on the steelworks that you saw) are now shut down awaiting decommissioning and demolition.

Thanks, it's about 1 3/4 to 2 miles depending on the route you take.
