  • In this video, I review the challenges I experienced reattaching the L4554A automatic 4-point hitch to the Grand L6060. I learned what not to do when detaching the L4479-74" snowblower and subframe in the spring in the future. I also share why I couldn't get the discharge shoot the go in both directions or change the discharge angle.

Messick's has a good video about attaching this frame. They are a large dealer in Pennsylvania.

That far right detent got me too. Was thinking my valve was broke, then read my op manual and happened to remember. I have a very similar setup, just not the auto hitch model - l6060, cab, front snowblower. So far it's done everything I've asked of it! Just waiting on the first snow of the season here in south central MN

I just took delivery of my Grand L6060. I also ordered the l4554a auto hitch. Have had nothing but problems with it. It loses down pressure and no I am not putting it into float. The other issue is when I angle the blade all the way to the right it gets locked. I have to play with the loader stick to get it to move. Never does this angling left only right. It is definitely getting hydro locked. If I see the hose kind of jump from pressure relief it then works. Also makes a loud pop when disconnecting blade and blower. Currently back at dealer waiting for Kubota to notify dealer on what to do. I have not heard of anyone having problems like this. I know this setup has a fifth hydraulic hose for drain back to tank. To me that may not be working locking blade when angling to right. If I stop angling before end of cylinder travel it does not get locked. When it loses down pressure you can not connect an attachment because the pins don’t get pushed in to lock attachment. Lots of issues. This hitch has quite a few electric solenoids maybe one them is not working causing all of these issues. When loader is on tractor I have no issues so it is not the hydraulics on the tractor. Paid a lot for this setup and am very disappointed the tractor was delivered with these problems!

Well that sounds like a very crazy situation. I'm wondering if they have the hydraulic line switched on the blower / blade attachment. My system works flawlessly The only problem I had was that when angling the shoot I was only able to get the shoot in One direction, to the left, that was because I did not put the hydraulics into detent in order to get the shoot to turn to the right as it should. Please keep me posted I'm very interested in what you find out.

That third function setup in your cab looks super sloppy , I'm not trying to be disrespectful but if your dealer installed that I'd be taking it back and telling them it looks like garbage. My dealer wired mine in with the chute controls flush mounted in to the top of the loader controller, it looks so clean and nice especially for the price you pay for one of these tractors . Also if you want quality videos on anything kubota look up Ryan Lynch his videos are the best I have seen Period.
