the box directly around the number is a bet placed for that number placed in relation to where you are standing at the table..the smaller rectangle above that box is where the lay bets are placed (betting a 7 will roll before that particular number)...hope this helps

Bluff got paid but that other person did not. If you're not paying attention to your bets, you can easily lose out on mistakes like this. Even if it's a $5 bet to split them, that's your money.
