Oof, I don't like the idea of "cover" being unuseful. Any death prevented is critically important for ANYONE to attempt to do. You see someone who messed up a mechanic fast followed by a targetted/tracking hit marker of the next incoming damage sure to hit them, and they need help. Yes, it's the healer's explicit job to heal "in time" to prevent that death, yes it's the DPS's fault for messing up, but damnit people if YOU'RE any good and you have a tool to prevent that death and you didn't use it, that exposes you as a lesser player with room to improve as well. Ultimately the L is yours to partially hold too. The least useful thing about this skill is the 10 yalms part is very rare for most fights. It's very doable, but it's not where people would casually want to be in most raids. Further, there are considerations to make around if you have enough HP to take double the damage. You wouldn't want to turn this on, take a hit that you are also directly going to take, and then take the damage they were on top of that if you didn't have the HP pool for it; hopefully mitigations work as well through it so you do "take" the damage, but you took it and reduced the overall amount of HP it would have taken for both of you.
Good job with the guide, one of the best I've seen. Hope to see more of the jobs
Thankies a lot for this guide 😁✌️
Well done guide. Definitely worth a sub. Keep up the great work.
