They really did sparks dirty, without the ability to use the training center. They're so much better with that one simple change, this was probably the only mod I was running. Also the amount of intimidate procs you've got is just insane, I can barely proc one per mission
I'm so mad about how bad SPARKs are, especially after how good MECs & SHIVs were in EW. I think it's inarguable that SPARKS in 2 are the most bottom-of-the-barrel unit. No training center. No items. No bonds. No covert op skill improvements. No PCS's. It's not even like they're unusable. You can beat the game with them, but everything they can do the human classes can do better. They're mediocre in everything. I tried an all-SPARK run on legendary. I beat it, but man they SUUUUUCK.

that was really fun to watch, seeing the spark punch enemies is enjoyable. i wouldn't mind seeing a another video with a 2 sparks, i assume it could be done a duo of sparks.
The Long War mod really makes these guys better, simply because of how many troops you need in that mod, plus they heal faster than people, and work as cover, which is useful when a wounded unit turns into a real issue
Wish there was a mod where you could put sparks in a workshop and they get there other abilities similar to the psi-ops class it would fix so many problems
This video shows a big difference between “The Backlogs” and “Insane Frame” right at the start. One bends the rules so they can make a run possible with as little semantics needed, while the other uses mods and does a very theoretical run with almost no rule bending.
Last time I was excited to have the Hellfire Projector, it was because I needed it to get the achievement for killing enemies with every heavy weapon and I kept getting the other heavy weapons more frequently.

yeah the real difficulty with the mec was action economy which was difficult and with the reaper just simply not enough damage but both really fun non-theless
@@InsaneFrame Like I said, both are doable, you just need to adjust the tactic a bit more. The reapers damage is not the problem, you just need to approach it differently with more defensive stats.
