I struggle with spelling because I suffer from dyslexia, It's really hard for me not only in English, which its not my first language, but also is it w my mother language. Fortunately, guys, There is an App called GRAMMARLY that helps me a lot. I really do recommend this App if you got the same problem as me.

in English the silent E change the sound of the words, in Portuguese language and I think also in Spanish language the accent marks has the same function, por exemple the words: sabia, sábia and sabiá, they are differents words with differents meanings because accent marks.

Yes in Spanish we have accent too. Even though isn't exist sabia with accent at the first "as"

@@VictorHernandez-yw4xq Nice, in Brazillian Portuguese, sabia (without accent mark) is "to know" in past simple, exemple: Eu sabia (I knew), sábia (accent mark on the first 'a') is a wise woman and sabiá (accent mark on the last 'a') is a kind of bird, I googled in English it's thrush bird.
