I agree with you Kaleb, connecting the 2 flower beds, will complete the property border. Your Mom is so blessed to have a wonderful, intelligent, knowledgeable, sweet Son like you. I love your videos, I learn so much. Thank you!💖🌻🌳🍁🍂
Those finials - wow!! What a find. This is a great way to display them. The long border in front - I cannot believe how much it’s grown and filled in this summer! The finches are going to love having so much rudbeckia around. I agree that plants are just not easy to find locally this time of year. I’m in TN and the stores are chock full of mums but little else.
Love your videos. Have you ever done a take us along on your architectural salvage trips? I would love to see the places you go & sure there are others. Happy Fall.
It is such a beautiful setting and watching every thing you do. You are awesome and a blessings to everyone with a great green thumb. Thanks so much for sharing. Kaleb ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
For those of us who grew up in Iowa, when you talk about the Iowa limestone, I think of the beautiful buildings and structures around Anamosa. It is truly a work of art!
I like your idea of a limestone wall and planting around with perennials for a splash of color. You like to break all the rules as plants will grow into each other creating a border that pops!. Your decision to put out smaller pumpkins is just enough to welcome fall. Thanks for sharing all of your cool ideas. Happy Gardening & Happy Fall!
I love all of the architectural salvage you use! It instantly adds a sense of maturity. Your mom’s property is so beautiful and I’m amazed at how fast the new roadside bed has filled in!
I love your home gardening and what you’re doing to your mom‘s place is, absolutely breathtaking. I also started getting into planting and mulching around my garden bed. Thank you so much for these tips and tricks and I’m so happy to see Kip doing well. ❤
Gorgeous! Thanks for bringing os along! South Texas is a architectural salvage heaven. I love antique shopping here, and have bought some wonderful pieces in Phoenix arizona. I love your landscape!❤❤👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😊
Great design ! Fits well with the house and the surrounding landscaping. I look forward to see how it looks like when the foiliage grows-in. Thank you !
I love the proximity of your mom's house to your house-you both are so lucky to have each other :) I do like the plantings that you did in this video. You got me geared up to do some planting in my own yard.
Wow, those finials and structure you built are so beautiful! You have great artistic and style sense. The planting will totally enhance the entrance. You mom is very lucky you to have you design and create such wonderful landscapes! Thank you for sharing.
I'm glad you said "if you can find the plants" lol. I went to my local nursery in September to look for perennials because the weather's been great to plant, but alas the pickings were slim. I wish now i had ordered plants online (prefer to patronize locals) because we've had an amazing fall to plant.
Love it! I recently scooped up a bunch of ornamental grasses at 50% off because the garden center needed to clear things out. Hameln is my favorite and I love seeing your mom’s knowing what mine will hopefully turn into! 😊
Gorgeous flower beds! What a gift to your mom! Amazing finials so perfectly displayed too! Have you considered painting the electrical boxes black or a dark gray so they are less prominent?
I hope this video gets the word out to plant nurseries and box stores , to put perennials out for fall planting. We can only find mums and asters in our area .
Fall is the time to plant in the PNW too. I usually have to buy in the spring and hold the plants over the summer, which can be hit or miss if I can't get them in the ground before the dry season starts. I'm excited to start on my fall perennial beds too!

Inter plant something around the sea holly....the foliage is soo low and let it shoot out from something bustier below the flower height
Here in Arizona it’s still 110 degrees, lovely video as always happy fall!! 🎃
