What is a J-Cut in Film?
There are a few fundamental editing techniques that every editor should know. One of the major ones is the J-cut. Just about every movie you watch has some sort of J-cut within its edit. J-cuts help move the film along in an engaging way, but can also be an incredibly effective storytelling device when used correctly.

Are you asking us about Avid Media Composer software?
@@erinafilminstitute yes bro, because it's very popular in film industry and much people no idea about it how it's work and there workflow and most important thing is no any indian youtuber make video on it
@@patilpushpraj1600 Avid Media Composer is very good software. It is in great demand in the Hollywood film industry. But when it started, we didn't have any other options but Today, many good software have come in the market such as DaVinci Resolve. Right now Avid is not fit for the Indian market. This is our opinion.
