Sir i needed your help i grafted a Ecuador Palora Dragonfruit Scion onto a red rootstock and removed all the thorns off the rootstock the graft seems to be successful but its 46days now it hasnt put any growth the scion is plump and i can see ridges but the thorns look dried up any possibility it will put out new growth or take more time

Hi , sometimes the scion takes little more time to start or give out new bud , wait for sometime , it'll grow , if the graft is good and healthy, it will give out new growth soon

@@kandhalagrofarms Thank you for your help am just worried cz the Scion thorns they look kinda dried up otherwise the thorn have whitish appearance.The graft looks good with plump ridges only worry is will it put out new growth or no..Have to wait patiently for the results..Thank you again

Sir one of the 3Palora grafts has put out new growth in 48Days the other two were cleft grafted no sign of new growth yet but the scion is healthy hopefully they too are successful...I need another help from you on the sunburn yellowing issue it happened on my red variety canopy now am using a umbrella to help it recover but will Green Miracle spray help them turn green again and will Saaf Fungicide help me in the Monsoon Season am from Goa and it rains heavily here...i need help in protecting my Dragonfruit plants so i can see it bloom and fruit one day🙏🏻Please

And for the sunburn , protect them with kaolin clay
Green miracle does nothing
Else you can spray lime powder at 1 Kg in 10 Liters of water , add some shampoo or sticker in it for better application
Don't spray any fungicide now , it'll worsen the situation
Just use kaolin or lime powder
And give magnesium to the plant

Can you give me some idea about your grafted pallora plants , how long this plant will take for the first flowering , what is the average yield per plant per year

Grafted plants start bearing in 1st year itself
For initial year , production would be less , say 3 or 4 fruits per pole
But as the plant have more growth , it ll give good production
From 3 or 4th year , you can expect around 30 fruits in whole season (minimum)
