How to design custom cornhole bags, using the bag template from Burly Bags

Designing your own custom cornhole bags can be simple by www.burlybags.com
Knowing the sizing your printer will be working with helps improve the chances that what you get is exactly what you had in mind.
Here we'll be working with a bag template, created by BurlyBags.com for designing our own customer cornhole bags that they'll be printing.
While we're using photoshop in the video, any photo editing software will have a very similar process.
We will be setting up our "Canvas" (work area) first, to the size we need (7"x14") at the resolution we need (300ppi).
300dpi is the maximum resolution of the printer printing the designs, so higher resolutions will not be necessary.

Looks super easy! For those that can’t control layer orders, another option would be to turn down the opacity on your image layer so your template shows through a bit. This will allow you to see what part of the image will be on the finished bag. Just make sure you turn it back up before you save your final image! Can’t wait to place my first order!!

I’m using photoshop but I believe in most programs if you dropped this template into them would auto fit the canvas to the size of the template, and with the resolution at 300 during its creation should help ensure your layout resolution is on the right track too 🤙
