I love that you look at the off-season as a mental break in addition to a physical break. I often find a mental break is what athletes need more than the physical one after an ultramarathon training block

Woohoo! I'm planning on running a 50km this summer, so watching this video is just increasing my excitement for the race! Also, Sally, I'm using your app to build a base (6-wk run and strength program), then using your 50km plan in the app as my race training. Thanks for being an inspiration!

I’m also training for a 200. But just one. Not three like you’re doing. Can’t wait to follow your training.

Go for the Chia for Iron and fiber (instead of oats) . Adding spirulina to green smoothies is good for iron and overall gut health too 💪

Just starting off on my running journey. Taking it very slow to start but can’t stop getting knots in my calves any suggestions? I am using a theragun daily to try and break up the knots but every time I run they come right back. Loving your channel so far.

You can have a total high cholesterol because of you have high HDL which is good? Which one was out of wack, LDL or HDL? Love this though, thanks for sharing

I also had high HDL cholesterol with low LDL. I was worried about the overall high #, and read that women can develop problems due to overly high HDL, but my Dr assured me I was fine, and it was due to my high level of activity. 🤞

Why aren’t you posting races and results to Strava anymore? We saw you at Leadville but didn’t see results

I did a podcast on that question; you can find it in the FEAR AND DANGER ON THE RUN episode. After being harrassed and stalked I only at random post my runs. I'm still on there giving kudos and saying hello, but my posting will remain infrequent.
