Beautiful photos Darryl! I've been contemplating getting this Q2 Monochrom for awhile now and this video has helped me with my decision process (now I will have to find where to get one from near me) . Thank you and keep up the amazing work with your videos.

Did you please use a color filter in front of the lens for these dark blue skies ?
With film I have to use an orange filter, or in digital color filtering when editing.
I did not use any filters or digital filters in software. I do not think the digital filters will work with the monochrom sensor
Daryl, of course digital filters only work when converting color in B&W, with a monochrom sensor one has to use a colored glass filter. My feeling is that these Q2 mono images have a darker blue rendering than regular panchromatic film, and it's so nice.
Hello Darryl.. Have you ever posted your review of the SF C1 and SF 60 flash? I can't seem to find it.
By the way, If I remember correctly, metz is the one who makes flashes for Leica.
I think your right, as I have seen the same transmitter used by another company.

Do you think Q2 Monochrom reporter will be less fingerprint and dust management?
The reporter would be better than the Q2M as the paint is lighter, do not think you will see any finger prints on the reporter.

No fingerprints on my Q2M reporter. I'm using it every single day.

I keep noticing a lot of sky banding coming from the Leica q2 mono. Is anyone else noticing?

Battery removal is the same as used @ Hasselblad XD camera's. It's no invention of Leica. Sorry!
Hi, the Hasselblad X1D was released in 2016 and the leica Q was releaed in June 2015
Leica T released in 2014 had it also.
