I’m just now getting into the pilates chair exercises. I’m enjoying it tremendously. I didn’t realize how this piece of exercise equipment can give you a great full body workout. I’m just a beginner, but these exercises are inspiring me to keep going and get to at least an intermediate level. I wish I started this in my 30s, but I’m entering my 6th decade of life n just now enjoying these exercises. I’ve done the regular pilates reformer machine off and on for years.

The reason your twist didn't work out on the 2nd side is you had the wrong foot crossed on top. Thanks for the video!
Thanks Patty - actually I fell on the one where my legs are crossed properly... and then distracted I suppose ha ha I started doing it with the wrong cross... boo... Thank YOU for watching!
Great work. How do you come up with your routines
Hi there - thanks so much for watching and for your kind words. Let me think about your question...
Ok, so for this workout I decided that I would make the level of workout "intermediate" so that gives me an idea of which exercises to include and which ones I won't do. Also since I have a student with me I had to factor in if there are any exercises she doesn't do - Gail is awesome tho and does everything so that wasn't a big deal - And since I wanted to make the focus on moving and flow I wanted to change the spring setting only 1 time. So for this video these 3 elements helped me to decide on the exercises and the order in which I did them. On the Wunda Chair there is not a set order to follow so you have lots of options. I hope this helps to answer your question :) xo
I have an exo balanced body chair any recommendation for conversion on the cactus .
Hi there - please know I am not super familiar with the weight of your springs on the Exo chair - but am I correct in that you have 4 settings on each side of the cactus and a total of 4 springs - 2 heavier and 2 lighter? I have had success with using 2 springs (either both in the 2 setting - second from the bottom- or 2 + 3 which is a slightly heavier setting) for the exercises like the Pull Up or others where your body weight is on the pedal and you must lift it up - try that whenever I use 2 springs 1 top plus 1 bottom or 1 bottom plus 1 middle in the video. Try one spring only in the 2 position when I use 1 middle spring in the video and see what you think. And in general even if you have a different spring setting than I do - you should always be in control of the spring - so it should never push you around. I think if you use that as a guide you'll be able to suss out the best choices for spring setting for your specific needs. See what you think and thank you so much for watching and for connecting here with us for this awesome question!! Keep up the good work! xox
Do you have more videos like this? I have center line chair
Hi Stephanie :) That's great that you have the Centerline chair. Yes, here's a playlist of all my Wunda Chair workouts: ua-cam.com/play/PLwvPbMGeaVALh1iI4uPX_q812Q_nl6XkL.html
And more are being filmed as well. Good job! I will add a link to the Wunda playlist at the end of this video as well - thanks for sharing your thoughts and comments here with us. xox
