100% agree so so good better thain the main characters IRA & Ruth truly outshone them both how powerful there story is a love so strong it cannot be broken even when she left she came back
wow, when the flashbacks story is better than the actual main story wow how powerful true love always finds a way ! there was so strong it could not be broken so incredible how strong their bond was "Even if that happiness no longer includes me" showed that even in unhappy times he was humble and honest but she came back because the love was too strong to let go
I don't feel pain any more , i have whole in a heart . This whole is fill by this hell of count of it World . I don't have any regret and I will die peace 🥀.
Damn. This hit a spot. This guy literally set her free to find happiness without him. He'd rather be sad living without her if it meant she could find happiness somewhere else.
@@mahmudulhaquearnob can you put a link for the trailer because when you type the title it appears only a movie about cowboy or horse taming ? and I do not think that is the movie
I'd fight for a love like this. Anytime. Anywhere. He'd be worth every joy and every suffering. I'd find him in any crowd. Yes I do have conditions. I've a right to them. I do carry my brains in all my loving and just as much as it is my instinct to protect my beloved I have the same instinct to protect my own mind from being betrayed and hurt. Having said that I'd sit and talk serious matters with him and if his angels and demons dance perfectly with mine I'll have him. Otherwise I'd let him go. Better that than robbing and costing heavily each other's opportunities of finding love, life and laughter.
It's hard to let go when you love someone especially when they no longer feel that happiness with you... you gotta let go so you could see that smile from far away
It’s about an old man his name is Ira who gets trapped in a burning car. He’s saved by a young couple and he awakes and the girl questions him about this box that he asked her to save from his burning car when they pulled him out. They are love letters from his late wife that died some years ago. He asks her to read them to him. Their story is basically about him & his wife Ruth. They got together very young when he was peniless and despite her parents not approving of him because of his low status, they got together anyways. They had many trials and hardships throughout their marriage, struggled through poverty and had infertility issues. Having kids was important for Ruth, and Ira didn’t want her to give that up so he broke up with her even though it broke him. Then he went to war and she went to him before he left and said she loved him still and for him to come back to her, he said he will. At war the only thing that kept him going was the idea of seeing his Ruth again. Eventually he did come back from the war, and they lived happily together. They eventually stumbled along a troubled kid, who was one of Ruth’s students. He spent a lot of time in their house, painting especially, which seemed to fit since Ira was an art collector and they had many pieces up in their home. Yet, they treasured this child’s paintings the most. They wanted to adopt him but circumstances didn’t work out and the kid had to move away. They never adopted or had much family, it was just the two of them in a great big house, but that was enough for the two of them, who stayed happy together until Ruth’s final days. Meanwhile Ira unfortunately died in the hospital, but he was happy since he got to relive his happiest moments with his wife. His art was auctioned off, and the couple who saved him were invited as well. This couple faced many hardships too, mainly the male working a dangerous job to keep his family afloat since he needed money. The art at Ira’s auction was all worth a lot of money and very expensive pieces priced for millions and hundreds of thousands of dollars. The last piece was extremely cheap, an ugly painting, painted by a nobody not worth anything. The couple saw nobody had bid on it, and they did, as to pay respect to Ira. Turns out that painting was Ira’s most prized possession, a painting of his wife Ruth, painted by the boy they had wanted to adopt. Ira wrote in his will that whomever purchased that painting could have his entire collection. So the young couple with money issues got all their problems solved and got to live happily ever after, which is what Ira wanted and what Ruth would’ve wanted.

Their story was so insanely sad and I’m gonna comment it below if anyone is interested. Also it’s the book/movie “the longest ride.”
