Revelation was not talking about the King James Version. When this version was produced they had changed the words of the other versions…the authors were trying to get as close as possible to what the manuscripts in other languages were saying.

    • @Jae_hX
      @Jae_hX 2 місяці тому

@RJ2878 You're confused. It's not about updating language or spelling. No one is saying the KING JAMES Bible itself is perfect and nothing else is because it's the King James Bible. There would be Bibles in other languages that are God's perfect word as well. This Argument is based on Majority Manuscripts vs Minority! Modern Bibles are using corrupted Manuscripts and using whatever words they deem fit for them.
Gods perfect word is used in the Majority manuscripts. Any Bible that uses those and faithfully is a perfect Bible! Unfortunately, no such Bible in English exists at the moment EXCEPT The King James Version! The NkJV Claims to use the majority manuscripts but they translated words wrong or entire paragraphs wrong deliberately to REFLECT the same errors used by modern scholars using the minority ( 2 Trash can ) manuscripts! So what the pastor said stands! Sorry, not sorry! I came from the Modern Bible camp and was a strong opponent of the King James til my eyes were opened by God on the truth! I hope the Lord opens your eyes to the same truth! God Bless!

First...Could I be Wrong? ABSOLUTELY YES! But, ALL others, Could be Wrong too! Thus, I believe now, Kind Sir, is this...
I have researched Bibles deeply; for the Last 17 yrs; of my 92 Yrs old age. And, if Christians do not know; what happened over the last 2,000 yrs of "English Bibles"; they would go crazy when they learn; how the English Bible were written and published, to this day. IE...
The differences of KJV vs NKJV; had MANY changes. Also, there are 3 major KJV's from 1611 AD, until 1885 AD, until 1973 AD! Where there were MANY "Corrections". Oh yes. Most won't believe that, but it IS True. For...
The first KJV Bible in 1611 AD, was called "The Original"! And believe it or not; it had 80 Books (NOT 66)! "39 OT's, 14 Apocrypha's and 27 NT's". And the 80 books in the KJV, stayed that way for 274 yrs. Then they published an "Authorized" KJV, in 1885 AD. But with only 66 books! And 88 yrs Later...
In 1973 AD, they created the NKJV. And millions of the "Elizabethen" Words; were thrown out! From Gen to Rev! Believe it or not. And again, untold errors, were corrected again!
And after that: Bible Translator and Scholars published 2 New more Bibles; that are said to be; "The most Accurate Translated EVER'! The first, was the NASB in 1972 AD. And the NIV in 1973 AD.
Now, the "New American Standard Bible"; was translated "Word by Word". And the “New International Version” was translated "Phrase by Phrase".
So, they suggested: to "Use the NIV; unless you are VERY UP on the English language. Because the NASB, gets hard in many places, to understand; IF not up on the English language".
End of Story and I rest me case...
...in any case Brethren, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!

One thing I ask of you pastor, stay strong for the Lord our Savior, for His Word (KJV), for your family, the Lord's sheep, the King James Bible, Word of God is under attack, we all need to stay strong, and stay in the Light of God and His Word, wear the Armor of God, and have only one Holy Bible and that is the KJV.

It's a big money making sheme based on 2 trash can manuscripts that have been altered halted by 2 occult athiest! Just forget the 6,000+ Majority manuscripts used for 1,000s of years because 2 "magical older manuscripts" that dont even agree with eachother are better! You go right ahead and support that if you want. I guess you have to believe that God didn't preserve his word. There is no such thing as a perfect Bible. God's word is ever changing and you'll never get the entire truth! Maybe soon enough you'll just he an athiest when you realize God's a liar huh?

@@maoristreetevangelist The very first verse, Gen 1:1 for starters and there are many more. The word "heaven" in verse one is singular in the KJV but it is plural in Hebrew. I have a list of dozens of errors in the KJV. Anyone who has studied languages knows it is not possible to perfectly translate any document from one language into another language. Even the 1611 translators themselves acknowledged this stated as much in the very preface as well as margins of their 1611 edition. I use the KJV but regularly go to the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts to gain a more precise understanding. This is why seminaries teach Hebrew and Greek.
This speaker has not provided any direct evidence that the KJV itself is perfect nor is it an inspired translation. The KJV is a very good translation but is in no way a perfect translation not could it be. I find it interesting that King James Only folks are not Hebrew or Greek scholars. If they were they would recognize the translational problems that make a perfect translation into English impossible. Learn Hebrew and Greek or at least learn how to utilize language study and word study tools.

The warning given by John in Revelation 22 concerns taking away from or adding to "the words of this prophecy." What prophecy? The prophecy John was writing...the book of Revelation. There are plenty of reasons to accept the 66 books we now call the Bible as inspired and without error, and to accept them as a closed canon, but John was only referring to the revelation God had given him when he gave his warning.
This seems to be just a jumping off point for yet another argument for the primacy of the KJV. King James had his own reasons--some good and some not--for picking his translators, perhaps no more or less so than countless others through the years. Please do not presume evil motives on the part of those who have simply tried to do their best before God in translating His perfect word. Some have been misguided, and some, no doubt, have operated out of selfishness and even a lack of true belief. I do not deny the presence of sinful motives on the part of some. But not all, brother. Not all. The presence of sin will never be completely eradicated until our Lord comes again, and so we all suffer from that, even those who are redeemed by the blood of Christ and are continually being transformed by His grace. Translating is an extremely difficult task, and it seems extraordinarily foolhardy to believe that King James and his team were somehow endowed with wisdom that has been withheld from all others in the last four hundred years.

added...? yes, the King James Version adds to the Bible. Philippians 4:13. It adds "Christ" which is not in the original Greek. The original Greek says, "I can do all things through him who gives me strength." So the King James is guilty of "dynamic translation" or of "adding to the Word of God", according to your twisted, cult logic.

    • @BornAgainininChrist

    1. The 1611 King James Version (KJV) English translation of 1 Corinthians 11:29 reads: "Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, 'AND' drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord."
    2. All other English translations listed on Bible Hub for this verse place the conjunction 'OR' between "eat this bread" + "drink this cup". For example, the New King James Version English translation of 1 Corinthians 11:29 reads: "Therefore whoever eats this bread 'OR' drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord."
    3. Bible Hub's interlinear translation of 1 Corinthians 11:29 directly from Greek to English has the Greek word ἢ ('OR') placed between ἐσθίῃ τὸν ἄρτον (should eat the bread) + πίνῃ τὸ ποτήριον (should drink the cup) and not the Greek word καὶ ('AND).
    4. Therefore, either (A) the KJV translation of 1 Corinthians 11:29 is CORRECT and both the original Greek, along with all other English translations, are INCORRECT or (B) the KJV translation of 1 Corinthians 11:29 is INCORRECT and both the original Greek, along with all other English translations, are CORRECT.
    5. If the KJV translation of 1 Corinthians 11:29 is INCORRECT, do you still believe (A) "that the King James Bible is the perfect Word of God" and (B) "all other English translations of the Bible are corrupt and are perversions of God’s Word"?

    • @LawofLiberty

      @@LawofLiberty 1. I was merely asking a question.
      2. I plugged in all of your 'deeper meanings' into Google Translate from English to Greek and this is what came up:
      A. either = είτε
      B. before = πριν
      C. and = και
      D. than = από
      E. rather = μάλλον
      F. what = τι
      G. or else ή αλλιώ
      3. Therefore, since:
      (A) you write "We believe that the King James Bible is the perfect Word of God. We believe that it is inspired and preserved. We believe that all other English translations of the Bible are corrupt and are perversions of God’s Word"
      - and -
      (B) Google Translate does not acknowledge the KJV 'and' in the first clause of 1 Corinthians 11:29 as ἢ , but only translates ἢ as 'or',
      - then -
      (C) can't this only mean that Google Translate of Greek to English of ἢ = 'or' is a 'corruption and perversion' within their translation service, as it violates your profession "that the King James Bible is the perfect World of God"? Wouldn't that be a blasphemous offense against God, since Google supports the unanimous consensus of all other translations that ἢ = 'or' in the first clause of 1 Corinthians 11:29, which according to your profession are 'corrupt perversions' of God's "perfect Word of God" contained in the KJV?
      4. Otherwise, can you please direct me to a compatible translation service of Greek to English that will show ἢ = 'and' to match the first clause of the KJV 1 Corinthians 11:29, as well as vice versa of English to Greek to show 'and' = ἢ? Or is that 'perfect' translation service merely restricted to just the KJV English translation of the Greek New Testament?
      5. Many thanks and God bless.

The kjv bible was not given by inspiration, You are saying the kjv is perfect and because of this you can attack all of the bible's, Then it must be perfect, The King James Translators Specifically Stated Their Work Is [Not Inspired And Perfect,] They said that they were not sure about how to translate some words, In Job 17:6 kjv, and aforetime I was as a tabret, [tabret means tambourine,] This word appears only once in the hebrew bible so how do we know what it means, They confused [tophet with toph], toph which means spitting in the face, [They got the word wrong,] They are not inspired they said they are not inspired, [You're saying perfection without inspiration, ‘‘Inspired Translators’’. We have inspired translators of the original hebrew & greek YES, But not an inspired translation of kjv or of any bible. We have the scriptures available that are updated so that we can read them, I took the time to do my own research.
