- Out walking I explain the main reason I camp on flood zones and check on the river and the camp more flooding and more rain to come hopefully tomorrow it will start going down again some cool wild fungus I spotted it thanks for watching see you all soon
You are my go to guy for escaping all the crap news we are all subjected to, I love what you do, and the purity of what you do, you Tyson and Tim. Keep on trucking, Love from Devon.
thanks loads and will do
I think it’s funny that Tyson knows just where to go without being told
Yous should try frying some sausages in coca cola and throwing in some of the wild garlic -really nice , my kids love it when we go down the river for campfire 👍
Thanks for the tip!
Poor Mr. Tyson looked so sad he couldn't go hunting for balls.
yeah that’s 2 days in a row now I feel for him
I love watching your videos with your dog keep them coming 😊 👍 🔥
Thank you! Will do!
Jon: Sorry mate, you can't go across there today, you'll get washed away.
Tyson: Hold my ball. 😎
Nice to see you posting more. My dogs and I enjoy your UA-cam channel
You are so kind thanks
Those scarlet coloured fungi are called elf cups and quiet edible if that's your thing, John.
Yeah I have a book with them In it’s just not my thing hahah
Just when you think the water will go down at your creek side camp, Mother Nature says here hold my beer! Great video.
It’s all so interesting if not devastating. Thank you for showing us. I love Tyson, he’s so alert.😷😍😷
I totally agree!
it has been very wet here and cold, but fair play for your weekly forays!
yeah hopefully it will dry out soon
I live in inner city.. wish I had space like you
I live on the side so I’m not to bad but Carlisle is not a big city
Thank you, for the lovely nature walk, and educational presentation. In my part of Texas, we have some trees that will grow at an angle, but it's not water that pushes them: it's wind.
cool thanks for watching
Seen trees like that near the coast in the UK
yeah it can be strong wind as well as water if the bend is more to the bottom it’s water wind tent to be half way up
Hey John, hope you are well ….. I’ve seen a lot of flooding since the beginning of your channel and I still find the amount of washed up debris amazingly high. What force to bend those trees like that. I hope you are doing ok. I am still enjoying your channel very much. Take care John. Your olde fan. 👌💕😇🇨🇦 LilliStJohn
Good video keep posting videos up

I do love firewood
@@carlisle195 I was waiting for you to say, there`s less environmental impact on the flood zone . We appreciate your honesty John ! It`s been awhile since the space station has complained about your campfires lol.
It's amazing what a 10 minute video can do for you! Thanks John
...and Tyson!
Finally bought a DD hammock and tarp set up!
Thank you so much for the inspiration 👍

Thanks John I've just bagged a permission on a farm in the east riding of Yorkshire with a woodland and river running through the middle its beautiful!

Oh my GOD 😲😲😲flooding 😲😲😲
Yesh will go down in a day or 3 hahaha
Makes sense for you to camp the way you do! I have no particular need to be anywhere for a few days from time to time. I would bring provisions and enjoy the rock shingle high ground you are showing. THANKS for the explanation of how floodwaters affect tree growth.
cool thanks for watching
Thankful for the uploads . Great places.
you’re welcome
I havent walked under the dalston train track's bridge in a while lol, and i havent seen the beck or that area that badly flooded before lol.
it happens every year it’s a good spot
I never knew that, and that area sure is a good spot just before you go under the bridge under some tree growth and across the beck was a little spot i and some friends would have fires they were good times, and my mom said when she was little her and my nana and grandad would go mushroom picking around that area and she said they would get loads and make soups.
Like the bendy trees.Well spotted!
thanks for watching
Cheers for your videos enjoy your videos with you and Tyson he's a great company both take care and be safe.
Glad you like them! and thanks same to you
Never seen those scarlet elf cups before (red mushrooms) !
Yeah they are so bright in colour
Beautiful Scarlet Elf Cups @4:45 so vibrant. Very cool find!
Wow the power of water 🌊
Get Innnnnn 👍🏻another video, how much water does Carlisle get in a year 🤔it’s good to see how different it looks ,thanks for hard work keeping ya fan base updated , Tyson loves the outdoors more than you now 😂👍🏻😂
I have no idea will need to look that one up hahaha it just be up there thanks for watching
there you go a copy for you
Even the driest month still has a lot of rainfall. The Köppen-Geiger climate classification is Cfb. The average annual temperature is 8.8 °C | 47.8 °F in Carlisle. Precipitation here is about 1051 mm | 41.4 inch per year.
@@carlisle195 since u being doing these videos, what is the longest time u haven’t been able to camp on the flood plain camp because it’s been well under water 🤔👍🏻
like 5 years ago the was a time of like 2 months I could not get close to it this year it’s been like a a week to 3 days it can be higher than this and go down by the next day depending on he rain along the length of the river not just this point
but then you get the 2 months of summer and it will be so low you don’t need the bridge to get over
love the videos, please could you make them longer😁
there all going to be different lengths if I’m camping they will be longer but some are going to be short
thanks for watching I will try hahaha
what a Great place ya got mate..
yeah it’s a good spot
Thumbs up!!!
Clark
thanks clark and for supporting me for all those years
I'm not familiar with the term " a bit of clucking wood ".
I'm interpreting it as a small piece of wood that one is able to toss/throw without too much effort (?) ...
sounds a bit lazy that
嗨!
hi
Hi John it's been a long winter roll on the summer in fifteen years I have never seen that like that.👍🦴
Cheers! Love the videos man!
Glad you like them!
Cheers John & MrT :-)
your welcome keeps me busy
Get stranded bro it's 2 foot of water
I enjoyed today's video.
Glad you enjoyed it thanks for watching
Where is this. Looks nice
@good very good
👍 the power of the river 💥
Its amazing how much the River Caldew changes everytime it gets high level. The Wastewater treatment works had to have a new outfall built because it moved away from the old point, now the new one is under threat.
Is that the new Pirelli factory expansion in the video?
yes it is I like to have a look see how it’s going
Some nice scarlet elf cup shrooms there John (inedible) 👌🏕️
Hi John! Lots of wood there, and water you’re so brave to Camp out there😊🏕
Amen~!
I do not get it why a river swamp would be so attractive, head for the hills much easier
if you got to ask there is no point in explaining as you will never understand
Rad, for me its proximity....i usually only get one night during the weekend, and having to drive several hours isn't an option...plus, with the flood plains, footprints you may see are always fresh...and i can avoid 2 legged animals!
Its so his poo piles get washed away at least once a year
