Also I’m pretty sure this song is about John Mayer. In the music video the guy looks like John to me. He was older than her. The leather jacket, the hat he wore is like one John used to wear. The hard partying in the club. Making out with another girl right in front of her. Taking her places she’d never been, he was 32. When Taylor dated Harry she was 20 he was 19. She was older, he wasn’t old enough to go drinking at the club, probably had a bodyguard/handler looking out for him back then at the height of his fame. Not John. She also described his life as too fast and losing herself and looked wasted sitting on the floor of a hotel room trying to figure out what was going on. Woke up in the desert after a party and had been abandoned alone with all the trash from the party everywhere. In 1989 her songs about Harry were sweet and described him as a “Gentleman” in Slut. She has a good friendly relationship with Harry today and I don’t think she would if he was the person she described in that video. She also referred to him as the devil. “ how can the devil be pushing you towards someone who looks so much like an angel when he smiles at you” she calls him the devil in Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve. Just my opinion 🤷♀️
The whole 1989 tour here in Sydney Australia was in my opinion her best performance by far man, before her stages went next lvl. There's this, Out of the woods, OMG, I know places. All on a stage without too much theatrics, she could still captivate 96,000 ppl She is where she is for a reason.
Please do Death By A Thousand Cuts live from Paris next. It’d be even more awesome if you did a double feature with DBATC and Daylight from the same concert. It was an acoustic mini concert she did in Paris for the album rollout of Lover. It was fkn amazing. I know you already did Cornelia Street but the other ones are so great too. Death By A Thousand Cuts is in my top 5 of whole discography but I only list to the live from Paris version
Hey Alex - yes this is from 1989 which is assumed by everyone to be the Harry Styles album - but Taylor never confirms anything. My guy, her biggest diss tracks are if you come for her job. Scott and Scooter, looking at you - and she skewered you in song and in taking back her work! Hey repeated commenters that I was wrong - have any of you “Swifties” listened to Mean? Or You Need to Calm Down?? Ffs I acknowledged the error and thanked the people who pointed it out. Twice. This is why Swifties get the mean label.

Trouble was actually on Red but this live is from the 1989 tour
@ you are very correct- thank you
She did this on 1989 tour but the song is off Red Album
@@christybarrett7215 yes thank you my mistake as I said earlier
This is from the Red album...so it's clearly about John Mayer or Jake Gyllenhall...she dated Harry after she finished making the Red album..
