I met her once at TEB airport. I was having a cigarette outside the FBO where she was waiting for a Corporate Jet. She came up to me and suggested that I STOP SMOKING 🚬. About a Week Later I decided she was Correct and I did stop smoking. I’m now a 71yo Veteran and Retired Corporate Pilot 🧑✈️ still Not Smoking!
You're not kidding. The writing, the casting, the chemistry, headlined by the beautiful Mary Tyler Moore. Ted Knight brought his unique comedic talent. He was my favorite character, but I had a crush on Mary every since the Dick Van Dyke show. She was so stunningly beautiful, both inside and out. All in all, it was one of the greatest television shows ever created.
Mary Tyler Moore was lovely and ladylike. That combined with her beauty and talent made her a star. I still enjoy the reruns and am nostalgic about those times.
Mary Tyler Moore was a beautiful, talented actress - both in comedy and drama, something that not many Hollywood actors are able to do. I enjoyed watching her on the Dick VanDyke Show as well as the MTM show - always enjoyed her performances because they were done in a natural, understated way, that made her roles so believable. One of the most talented, endearing actresses from the golden age of TV, who left her mark. RIP Ms.Tyler Moore - you will be missed.
They keep getting me with the titles. I ignore this site for months at a time, then try again. To date, nothing I didn't, know before I clicked on this has ever been discovered.
My favorite memory of the Mary Tyler Moore show was the end of the episode where they all stood staring out the window deeply moved by the setting sun.
That was the episode where Ted Baxter had a mild heart attack that temporarily changed his attitude about every day life and made Lou, Mary and Murray appreciate being alive-even though it was temporary. When Ted reverted back to his pompous self, they realized it was a temporary feeling, but they all went to the window one more time to enjoy the sunset "while they got it"!
I liked the living room on the Dick VanDyke show. Mary Tyler Moore was great on that series. M.T.M. in the 70s. She also played Christine St. George on That 70 s Show.
Thank you for this vid. Appreciate all the hard work you put into them. MTM show was my fav TV show. Loved the Dick Van Dyke show too as it introduced us to Mary Tyler Moore. Great job as always.
Mary Tyler Moore played the character "Sam" on Richard Diamond, Private Detective. Sam was the telephone operater on the series. Her face was never shown on camera. Only her legs were shown, and her voice.
Her professional achievements on shows like "The Dick Van Dyke Show" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" are well-documented, but it's her personal life that offers a deeper glimpse into the woman behind the fame.
Mary Richards did a lot of things for a lot of people. It was a great show with an incredibly talented cast. Many of the shows had real meaning combined with comedy that today's writers seem unable to match. What we've been witnessing over these last decades of television is regression at it's finest.
The title appeared to me that there was an affair. I was very happy to see there wasn't, just a lasting friendship. They were both great actors with class.
Classic TV, the DVD show. The first woman to wear pants on TV, I believe. The supporting cast was quite good too. A nod here to Morey Amsterdam, who, to me, was a good scene-stealer, especially when mouthing off to the boss (who got the fewest lines). Fun stuff.
Can we not overstate everything? She was in a successful sitcom in the early-mid ‘60’s, tried to transition to film, flopped, married a high-powered CBS executive who got her the MTM show, it was a hit, then pretty much her career was over. She didn’t f- DVD either.
I remember Mary Tyler Moore Mary Tyler Moore show my favorite episode from that show was when Mary had that party in her apartment but she'll get started Johnny Carson appeared when the lights went out in Mary's apartment that was a funny episode she had everybody there
I bet Dick Van Dyke would of loved to have an affair with her , but she was married to someone else , he was married to someone else --- in those days marriage vows were taken a little more seriously.
The narrator didn't mention that her first TV role was as the telephone operator on the show Richard Diamond, starring David Jansen. You heard her voice and the camera only showed her legs.
Never missed an episode. The cast was superb, especially Dick and Mary. It is disappointing to hear that Rose Marie was not close to Mary. Jealousy about Mary being a younger actress was ridiculous. If this bothered her so much she shouldn't have taken the part of Sally Rogers.
@@FactsVerse It was the episode when Rob was in the army and he proposed to Laura. They were sitting in an Army Jeep. I can't remember the entire show.

Rose Marie was just jealous of a younger, prettier woman stealing the spotlight from her. It is as simple as that. I actually liked Rose better on Hollywood Squares than on TDVDS.
This supposedly came out a day ago? How? Mary Tyler Moore died in 2017! Anything that is supposedly new would have to involve a clairvoyant, a medium and/ or a Ouija board! Taking 20 year old video clips and claiming they are new revelations is outlandish!
I mean no offense to Rosemarie, but she doesn’t have the same come on attraction to men that Mary Tyler Moore has and that’s only saying that bye a guy that feels that way.
