It do slap all types of hard but I wouldn't go that far sayin It craps on 2 ruff the albums are 2 very different sounds. 2 ruff was dope 2 w way more jungle vibes.
Don't get me wrong, you're right they are quite different sounds, and I don't think 2 ruff is bad, there's 3 or 4 really good tunes on it! I just think the rest are all a bit meh. For me, Chase & Status peaked at RTRN 2 Jungle, and I guess I was disappointed that 2 Ruff fell short of that! Streets, Love, and Other Stuff came out around the same time, and every song on it is a bop!

the states has had emcees like J. Augustus and MC ASTRO that been on the hip hop tip so this maybe new in the uk but in my home TEXAS we been on the slow flow to dnb... that being said, about half this album is so fire! the few that are filler or even pop i can maybe do without... but the first several and the last 2 are dope big up P Money and Ocean Wizdom, and the one like Whiney! alwas with the hot tunes! this has great bars of the gansta vibes we been doing and loving in the south dnb in the states! great work!
This is such a shame. From 2014 to 2017, Whiney produced some of the best Drum and Bass ever made, hands down. He is so much better than this "music" and I wish he would go back to his roots. ❤️

MCs are a core of drum and bass, don't dismiss them all! General Levy, Skibadee, MC Fats, Shabba, Harry Shotta, Inja etc.
