- Tanauan, Leyte is situated in northeast Leyte. It faces San Pedro Bay and is just 18 kilometers south of the capital, Tacloban City. The town is the "Skimboarding Capital of the Philippines" and hosted national and international skimboarding competitions.
On this episode, we explored Playa Alegre Beach resort, known for its black and sandy beach. We also visited a newly-opened farm villa, called Payag ni Lolo Iri, with architectural style inspired from Bali, Indonesia.
