Taken from The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert for AIDS Awareness that took place at Wembley Stadium on Easter Monday, 20th April 1992. The concert was a tribute to the life of the late Queen frontman, Freddie Mercury, with all proceeds going to AIDS research. The concert was also the launch of The Mercury Phoenix Trust AIDS charity organisation.

I've never seen Roger hitting his kit so hard and loud. The way he puts his whole heart and energy playing is just... unbelievable... Nobody will never replace Freddie. However Seal sang it in his own way... And it sounds great I think.
Putting forth his best effort for Freddie
Marc Martell come pretty close, but yes, Freddy is irreplaceable.
I agree I love Seals version too though Freddie’s is 10000% EPIC!!!!!

Have you heard the unedited version of this song? He majorly cocked up this song and they had to really change the final version. It's why they also never put in Innuendo that Robert Plant did into the final full show release

Seeing the pain on both Brian’s and Roger’s faces just kill me. Imagine them seeing someone else sing this song knowing that Fred will never sing it again here. Every time they look up, he’s not there. And even though they knew that he didn’t have much time left, it still hurts them. This is such a hauntingly beautiful performance by all of them...
It should be remembered that there is also a bass player, not only Roger and Brian

I've always loved the part where he sings "but touch my tears with your lips - touch my world with your fingertips". For some reason that particular part just sounds so astonishing when Seal sings it :)

Clint Bunger I think that Seal brought something new, interpreted this song in a different way and it sounded epic... This is the added value that an artist can bring, copies are not useful anyway.
Seal sang it differently. Seal sang it much better than Freddie ever could.

No hes not crying, hes upset at fact that he made some mistakes because he was not used to playing with 3 keys lower.. that is why he wrinkled his face. Of course, they rerecorded this in the studio. Most do not know, brian was very jealous of freddie

We are talking about a lot of emotion and sadness, everything was mixed up there. They did fix some things in the studio because it is noted that it was windy at this moment. Other than that, I find it a beautiful and painful number and one of the best interpretations for this song. Full of emotion
They did not choose a Steve Perry to go high on the notes but to be loving and sad. We are talking about the life that is gone in a song. For this reason, they cry because they missed their friend's heart. And Brian was not jealous

Yeah no doubt i remember seeing him in an interview talking about the moment he was walking down to Freddie's and Peter Freestone ( p.a) came out and said Freddie had died, i don't think he went in. But he just chokes up.
