If he is a good man, and he respects you, there is nothing wrong with letting your significant other lead you if that's what you want to do. If its toxic... that's another thing. There is a difference between being lead and being controlled. If you are being lead, you should have the option to give opinions and to have the freedom to not do something. Being controlled, you have no other option but to "obey". Being lead and being controlled are 2 different things.

This is very true! I think woke culture, perhaps feminist culture injected a lot of venom into very rational concepts and words. For example, I’m a very non-traditional woman, very assertive (not submissive at all) and I hate to cook - however, myself and my husband chose a very traditional home structure where he’s the breadwinner and I’m home with the kids/run the home (except I still don’t cook lol). I feel I get shamed for this, a lot, as if I’m somehow undoing all of feminism by not prioritizing some job I don’t care about over wanting to raise my kids myself. I would rather focus on them than work a crappy job, my husband makes very good money (because I raised our two babies while he worked full-time AND got his bachelors degree at the same time, so now we don’t have to worry about money) - i don’t care to waste my time working retail, I’d rather be with the kids until they’re self-sufficient, then cash back in on my investment and open my own business when the time is right. I think it’s smart - and I’ll never understand why I get shamed for what I think are great long term decisions. Just because it’s not the woke thing to have a traditional family/relationship structure?

What people forget is how important it is to have MOM happy bc it does effect everyone in the home. Than again there are women who literally stay home don’t want to work and don’t care for their kids - IE my neighbour.
I work part time. My husband works full time. That way i can be w my kids but they have a few set days they can go to day care and be around kids and my husband and I flip houses so there’s a lot of things I can do on my own. Having a permanent part time job at the nursing home w set days makes it easy for me to have the life I want deserve and love.
As long as you and husband are happy w how YOU guys are living that’s all that counts

I met Jaclyn at a meet and greet at Ulta in my hometown and most of us didn’t know you needed a ticket to meet her so we all just waited outside to see if we could get a glimpse of her as she left but as she was leaving she came out and said hi and took pictures with EVERYONE of us when she didn’t have to and even took the time to compliment me. I’ll literally never forget how sweet she was to all of us she’s AMAZING!!!

To me, its obvious shes a sweet person. Ive been watching her for years and ive always thought that. I dont know why people think otherwise.. unless its just jealousy. Thats the only thing that makes sense. No one can be perfect, and everyone makes mistakes, but for some reason there are so many people that don't think Jaclyn is allowed. Im glad you got to witness that first hand. I turned 40 this past May, and even still, shes totally someone that I could see myself hanging out with.

I don’t understand why people want to talk shit about you having someone cleaning your house? I am very happy you spoke about it because my mom cleans houses and buildings and that’s her job, you are giving someone a job and I like that you treat them as family. My mom feels love when workers in the building treat her like family, they leave sweet notes for her and mini thank you gifts she’s feel appreciated. It's ridiculous. You don't even need to be super rich to have a cleaning person. I'm in the UK and a teacher. I have a cleaner who come once a week to clean the house. Best money I ever spend! Totally gives me back my weekends, instead of spending time cleaning! It's not a huge extravagance, especially if you don't spend hugely in other areas. Like, I don't spend huge money on clothes, bags, cars...but damn if I want to spend £40 on a cleaner for a few hours, I will.

My mom also works on cleaning houses and she has her own business and she does it all by herself and tbh she has made over 200k and she has no debt and she owns her own house and has multiple cars.! She worked for every penny she has and she has 6 kids and 4 grandkids.! And I can proudly say I have a mom like her and I will never take her for granted cuz she has helped me when I needed her and I will do anything for her.! And the family she works for low key they call her mom instead of their own mothers cuz she does so much for them and they love how she works.
My cleaning lady is also a grandma to my kids and without her our lives literally fall apart.
