not a professional but I'll try. 1. you can google about the best position to put a purifier in I think you'll get apt answers (I have no info about it hence can't say). Every room - not really cuz it'll just be wayy too expensive plus purifiers are not really heavy if you'd want to carry them around in the room you're present. 2. I think you can calculate by what units they consume. That info will be given on seller websites. 3. Not really, what's the point of keeping it on for 24 hours while no one will be at the house i don't think anyone stays in their house for whole of 24 hours. Plus, pollution is much more at the night time so yeah I think you can keep it off in the morning to noon hours or set timers on it so it turns off automatically and keep it on for the 8-10 hours you sleep inside that room. Just my 2 cents, not a professional bud.

Except for the second question I think he answered the other two. First one is you can put it anywhere in your room but room should be properly closed like when you use AC you keep your doors and windows closed. He also mentioned that air purifiers are supposed to be used for prolonged hours because you need good air to breathe all the time. And since they are designed to use for prolonged hours they consume very less electricity usually within the range of 10-25 watts required they are only air purifiers and other additional features like heaters etc.

I have a small information to share: I have been using Sharp Air Purifier from last 5 - 6 years and I have replaced the filter twice only, having said that Rs 4500 price tag of filter needs to change once in two years and that is awesome. If you have too much money and want an air purifier that also works as a showpiece, go for Dyson. Note that filter replacement should be one of the most important factors in making your purchase decision, you don't want to be stuck with an air purifier that becomes useless to you after a season. In my opinion, Dyson, Xiaomi and Coway have filters that are readily available without much hassle and Dyson and Xiaomi are the ones whose filter is very easy to replace and hence are the purifiers that can also be cleaned easily. Notice how he too uses a Xiaomi filter in the beginning of the video to show the difference between a used and a new filter.

Air Mega Aim is a base model. Takes a lot of time to clean air. Better to buy some other model or some other brand especially where pre filter can be washed and displays AQI
150 is better. Aim is a base model, will take atleast 5 hours to clean air to a satisfactory level(according to coway team). Actually go for a purifier with a washable pre filter and AQI monitor. You can delay the replacement of the filter by cleaning the pre filter regularly.

Been using coway from 1.5 years. With recent rise in pollution the price is increased from 11.8k to 15k. At this price point I would highly recommend go for Daikin instead. They provide 10 years free filter replacement every 2 years.

Hello, i have bought a new Coway Air purifier. But a lot of times its indicators go from green to yellow (or blue to green) and then come back to its original color (like green). Does this happen with your air purifier as well or should i replace it ?
@@goswami_himanshu I had similar doubts and had even reached out the folks at Coway call centre. They told me when on auto mode it keeps changing its speed to maintain the aqi level to the best possible range. So when it is green or blue, the fan speed is lowest and then again when the level increases to yellow it increases the speed to clean the air again. At peak pollution levels it happens often. If you want you can set the fan speed to maximum which will keep on cleaning the air with full power and hence might stay in green/blue level if the aqi is not crazy high but I prefer the auto mode.
@@shubhamjain54519 in the past 2 years i have never had to change the hepa filter. I dont use it in all months but only when the aqi goes beyond 200-250 which is mostly around 3 months per year and that too only while i am sleeping because thats the time when i am not moving around and the room is sealed shut properly. I am guessing the filter should last 2 more years with my level of usage. However i clean the pre filter regularly which helps improve the hepa filter life
Most ticklish part of buying a good air purifier is free availability of its spare filters. I have already one from Panasonic and now it is lying useless because it's filters are not available. So, kindly suggest two or three good purifiers where getting spare filters is without hassles.

Or u can look for olx or maybe u can ask somebody to visit offline stores who sell air purifiers. This options should help, but commenting on a UA-cam video, dont look like a great option. Dont get offended, but just considered probabilities and effort to efficiency ratio. Take care.

I put some hairs around it for testing and it didn't even move even at the speed of 3. I have small dandruff problem these days and i can still see it in my table where i placed the Air mega nearby. So is it really working???? I'm now worried what actually it usually does and why i bought. It always go to green after 1 minute and the fan is working perfectly as i can see it. No dust at all in the filter for now. My Air quality may be too good as currently its 43 in my area but it didn't even catch those hair or dandruff dusts as supposed to be.

Been using coway from 1.5 years. With recent rise in pollution the price is increased from 11.8k to 15k. At this price point I would highly recommend go for Daikin instead. They provide 10 years free filter replacement every 2 years.

Hello, i have bought a new Coway Air purifier.
But a lot of times its indicators go from green to yellow (or blue to green) and then come back to its original color (like green).
Does this happen with your air purifier as well or should i replace it ?

@@goswami_himanshu I had similar doubts and had even reached out the folks at Coway call centre. They told me when on auto mode it keeps changing its speed to maintain the aqi level to the best possible range. So when it is green or blue, the fan speed is lowest and then again when the level increases to yellow it increases the speed to clean the air again. At peak pollution levels it happens often. If you want you can set the fan speed to maximum which will keep on cleaning the air with full power and hence might stay in green/blue level if the aqi is not crazy high but I prefer the auto mode.
@@shubhamjain54519 in the past 2 years i have never had to change the hepa filter. I dont use it in all months but only when the aqi goes beyond 200-250 which is mostly around 3 months per year and that too only while i am sleeping because thats the time when i am not moving around and the room is sealed shut properly. I am guessing the filter should last 2 more years with my level of usage. However i clean the pre filter regularly which helps improve the hepa filter life

Most ticklish part of buying a good air purifier is free availability of its spare filters. I have already one from Panasonic and now it is lying useless because it's filters are not available. So, kindly suggest two or three good purifiers where getting spare filters is without hassles.

If it really new u can opt for returning on Amazon or Flipkart, and if its return policy days are not over yet.
Or u can look for olx or maybe u can ask somebody to visit offline stores who sell air purifiers.
This options should help, but commenting on a UA-cam video, dont look like a great option. Dont get offended, but just considered probabilities and effort to efficiency ratio. Take care.
Sir any thought about diakin mc55 purifier. It cost 18k and comes with 3 additional filter replacement. It civer room of about 441 sq ft.

As both have almost equal features and AIM is 2000 rs. Cheaper.
Im pretty sure aim doesnt have washable pre filter so I recommend airmega 150

Vineet Sir, Plz reply I'm new to air purifiers currently am using Coway Air Mega about 2 days now. For these hours of usage I can't barely see a difference. I put some hairs around it for testing and it didn't even move even at the speed of 3.
I have small dandruff problem these days and i can still see it in my table where i placed the Air mega nearby.
So is it really working???? I'm now worried what actually it usually does and why i bought.
It always go to green after 1 minute and the fan is working perfectly as i can see it.
No dust at all in the filter for now.
My Air quality may be too good as currently its 43 in my area but it didn't even catch those hair or dandruff dusts as supposed to be.
