Hanglaj Mata is one of the holy and religiousplaces for the Hindu community in the worldlocated in the heart of Hingol national Park.People of various regions and countries came toperform their religious worship for centuriesHindupeople came from whole parts of the country aswell as aboard the country.Each year thousands of people come in thisfestival as well in other occasion. the people wereinterviewed for coming here, 32% of interviewedpeople came for the first time, 24% have secondtime, 12% have 3rd
time, 4% people have 5time,20% people came 5-9 times and 7% camebetween 10 to 15 times. Mostly people came fromSindh, other parts of Balochistan and some camefrom Punjab. Given in graph 2. People stay 4days and nights, 30% stay 3 days, 19% stay for 5 Days, 10% stay for 6 Days, 4%stay for one day and only 1% people stay in Hinglaj for two days. 73% came onlyfor Religious purpose and 27% people came for both recreation and religiouspurpose. The interviewed people were asked for traveling time and days. 42%people reached here between 4- 10 hours, 32% reached between 11 - 16 hoursand 26% reached here between 17 to 35 hours to Hinglaj Mata.
There are water kunds (pits) in proximity to Hinglaj Shrine; these are: Til Kund, Kheer Kund or Briham Kund, Khali kund and Maha Kali kund at up to the stream of the river Hingol, going downwards to the Hinglaj Mata and kali Mata kunds.
It is said about Til kund that Black Til (corn) when rubbed with hands in Til kund water still becomes white. And about Kheer Kund, it is famous that mailk used to fall, but, presently, water of springs fall through Herb “Mamera” and it is very beneficial for eye sight. It is the main pilgrimage place for devotees where there is a small old Temple in a cave of mountain in original form with open place for devotees. Here yagan, which is offered by devotees favoured with Darshan of Hinglaj Mata. They take sacred bath in Hinglaj Kund (Pit), which is in front it. Then, after that, devotees go through Gorabh Parsav ceremony under the ground channel, under Hinglaj Mata Murti to complete Yatra. In the past, devotees would be called “Kapris,” who used to adopt sanyas, renunciation, thereafter, by wearing Mala of Tharma.
All Day we done our Pooja pathh and in the evening we start our Yatra for Aadh Bhawani Mata Temple Thatta of Sindh Province.
