    You can quickly strip the zinc with muriatic acid. Just do it outside outside carefully, and follow appropriate safety precautions that apply to handling, and using strong acids.

    It's not so much that the zinc melts as it is that it melts, boils, and vaporizes, thus producing the harmful fumes. Zinc boils at 1665 degrees F, just below the melting point of brass (1710 degrees F). Melting brass in a furnace typically produces zinc fumes, and it is just something to be avoided.

    Would you make one of these for me without the regulator and a 1/2 inch flanged nipple for cooection?. Will be using natural gas

    I built a forge and a venturi burner like yours.when I light the burner and shut the lid on the forge my burner flame goes out.can you help with this problem

      It could be that your forge’s vent hole might be too small. Can you share a picture or video of your set up to get a visual of what you’re working with.

    I loved your first burner video, but this video is unwatchable. You need to edit out all the pauses. You stretched 20 seconds of content into 9 minutes.
