I did some prison time after 10 years of drug use and crime. Was an IV heroin addict. I went to county jail, rehabs, half way houses.. all of that. In and out for years and years, and I always got high when I got back home.
I did 18 months in the state prison, learned a lot. I spent time on myself, my mind and my plan for when I got out. I've been home for 5 years now. I've got 6 and a half years clean off any/all dope. I started a painting/remodeling business 3 months after coming home. I invested every dollar i had into myself and my business.
We have made more money each year than the previous, I employ two other people full time, and have an AMAZING wife and step kids.
While I can agree with the statement "prison isn't a rehab" statement. I do have to say that prison CAN be used to rehab yourself. You've got all that free time, if you're not getting stronger, smarter and better while you're in there.... you're wasting your time.

I heard of a few cops that got to close during those operations, and it change them forever, people never travel to th other side, but when they do and they stay to long, it change them forever. I bet they tell those undercover and patrol cops, that you can't look at them as human because as soon as they see them as human, that guilt about what's coming hit them
