Seems like yesterday I was going out there regularly, my old mate ‘Gibson top windsurfer’ used to own Gibson’s restaurant near the Cruz Roja. Festers bar in the centre upstairs, Bob the dj ...paddy’s bar? Corkys bar...I first went with flight only with a tent and lived on the north shore looking directly over to playa Blanca .....absolutely love the place.

Seems so weird to see our favourite winter destination comparably so empty since COVID. I wonder whether the locals (outside of tourist revenue obviously)actually prefer it with less tourists visiting?
Pity you didn't get the photo of the ferry you wanted - you'll just have to go back again and maybe film over at Lobos Island as well.
We plan to do just that in a few weeks time. It was nice to meet you that day on the seaffront.
I live in Playa Blanca and Corralejo seems buzzing in comparison! Was this filmed over Easter when Spanish folk were on vacation perhaps?
That was filmed on the 8th and 9th of April, however I was there again on Friday (7th May) and it felt even busier. The rest of the island is still very quiet though.

Insgesamt nicht schlecht gemacht. Beim gehen fällt das starke Wippen sehr auf. Hier müsste man die Action Cam, weiter von sich weghalten und den Ellbogen und das Handgelenk, als Puffer nehmen. Dann wippt es auch nicht mehr so. Nur ein kleiner Tipp. Gruß Rainer
It is not an action cam - it's a gimbal with 4th axis dampener. Difficult to remove my bouncy footsteps at this focal length (26mm).

@@RainerRomberg The GoPro has the same issue - it's maybe not as noticable because of the fisheye wide lens.

Not a fan of the rest of Malta (sorry) BUT Valletta is amazing. Such history...loved wandering around the narrow streets, drinking in bars sailors would have done hundreds of years ago....

There was nothing but the sun. I'm not interested in the plastic chairs in front of the bars. Every Spanish city with history and local people who do not work in tourism is more beautiful.
