    Brandon and Freddy, you guys have a sense of timing and direction that I often miss in (dare I say?) 'professional' produced effects. They often mess up on what you guys have mastered; making it look natural.

    Wow. This video is the first time where I get everything your saying. To be honest, the effects done were pretty simple and could be done by anyone, but the way they all come together... damn... only freddiew and brandon could pull something like this. Props! :)

    That shot of Freddie on top of the car Just Cause style...
    Amazing how they even did the reflection of his feet on the roof.
    Weird how he doesn't cast a shadow but the car does.

    Nah i don't think so, they have to add just some metal material shader, adjust some setting of it and render with mental ray, it's quite strange because in the other videos the car models were better than this.

    Hay Brandon and Freddie love what you guys are doing... I have a question about the Frogger angle.
    In this scene you do a slow pan up when Freddie is running across the road. but in the shot with the cars... I'd dosn't look like you do.
    My Questions is how did you match the panning action so that the cars matched the angle that as you follow Freddie across the road... I hope that makes sense? If you have the time, let me know.

    Just have to weigh in. Awesome video as always guys. Really enjoy your creative style and inventiveness. The advice on trying Blender is really good, and there is one more free alternative. I won't go in to comparing it with Blender, however Caligaris Truespace has been free since Microsoft bought Caligari some year ago. It used to be a proprietary quite expensive program, but now it is free. It has some really good tools and some very nice radiosity renderers.
    Just search for Truespace.

    @JaysonMooYoung okay I admit it I don't know what Lion and FCPX is, u have the knowledge high ground. but i like the idea that u agree with customisable PCs and premiere pro does look good for video editing, but isn't sony vegas just as good and can be used on windows? and I'm not sure what u mean by "pushing the company to move ship" did u work in the company or own shares in it or something?

  • @CashAssasin
    @CashAssasin 12 років тому

    I wanna know how you blended in 2 video's to one and made it look so real , i mean you didnt mask out every frame obviously, you did something else to get for example your jump with the cars or your duck with the big truck or the cars on the road with your movement

  • @dbrokensoul
    @dbrokensoul 12 років тому

    @L1Rtheloner My best bet is they shot the 2 scene with less zoom than the final result. On post production they zoomed the image a little bit (well, maybe more) and move combined scene up and down to follow Freddie. If the initial shot were shoot at a high resolution, then there will be less to no problems on zooming on the post-production...
    Which mean, no, the camera wasn't moved at all. It just standing still up there looking at the street.
