❤️ Happy Birthday Brian Wilson! 🍀 🙏
Stunning song, my favorite Beach Boys song. Was used masterfully in the movie “Boogie Nights”; which Burt Reynolds should have won an Oscar for. On this day of Burt’s death; I am dedicating it to him. Rest easy, Burt.

The Beatles' "Here, There And Everywhere" was inspired by "God Only Knows". John Lennon and Paul McCartney heard Pet Sounds at a party and went back to Lennon's house to write it. Paul McCartney once called "God Only Knows" "The greatest song ever written."
This was the song being played during the ending scene from "The Wonder Years" when Winnie Cooper broke up with Kevin Arnold as they were boarding two different busses at the end of their class trip. Very moving 😥.

The last part of the song with Carl, Brian, and Bruce singing the different parts is just priceless.
Wow. I just heard this for the first time. This is beautiful!! I can’t stop listening.
Played it 5 times already..lol
The Boys bought me here
There is no other perfect harmony like this wonderful song
can't remember if it was Paul or John, but they said when they first listened to pet sounds it scared them and actually made them want to step up their sound, and it brought them to tears.
@negativezero It was Paul. I read that too, then decided to give the album a listen. Hooked, right there and then!!
Classic 60s..love it!
Bless your heart, Brian Wilson. And thank you.
Masterpiece of the music industry
Brian, God only knows. But this song always brings a tear to my eye. You really bared your soul on this one!
Beautiful classical song; I get excited every time I hear it and remember cute moments of my life.
I saw these guys on the Mall in DC on July 4th, 1985. I loved it! Great times!
What an ending!! That's the most beautiful part!! If it went on for the next five minutes I would not be tired of hearing it. Such incredible harmonies so well blended and synchronized!!!
Well said Mr. Calvin !
PERFECT!!! This is exactly how my heart feels.
Love and mercy brought me here. Thank you Brian and the beach boys! A huge fan from Egypt 💜
I’m at the tail end of the Baby Boomer generation, but the Beach Boys & this song still resonate. I recall this was one of many Beach Boys albums available for our listening pleasure early in elementary school. Makes me miss home in Redondo Beach, CA.
the best by them ever!!!
amazing what feelings this song churns up inside me, great tune :)
Greatest song of all time. It will never be surpassed
The outro is better than most songs, in their entirety.
Doesn’t even come close to When the Music’s Over 🇺🇸
I CAN DO WHETEVER THE FUCK I WANT
I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS
Happy Birthday Brian Wilson! 🍀 🙏
One of the best pop songs ever written -
and of of the best performances of a pop song ever.
“The Boys” brought me here
Wow this song just , takes me somewhere PURE .. & WARMER .🙏💔💜🎤
Stunning song, my favorite Beach Boys song. Was used masterfully in the movie “Boogie Nights”; which Burt Reynolds should have won an Oscar for. On this day of Burt’s death; I am dedicating it to him. Rest easy, Burt.
A truly great performance in a movie that is way up there with the great ones.
I’m watching boogie nights right now and that’s what brought me here 💜
Probably one of the songs ever recorded!
Bestest?
may not always love you
But long as there are stars above you
You never need to doubt it
I'll make you so sure about it
God only knows what I'd be without you
If you should ever leave me
Though life would still go on, believe me
The world could show nothing to me
So what good would living do me
God only knows what I'd be without you
God only knows what I'd be without you
If you should ever leave me
Though life would still go on, believe me
The world could show nothing to me
So what good would living do me
God only knows what I'd be without you
God only knows what I'd be without you
God only knows what I'd be without you
God only knows what I'd be without you
God only knows what I'd be without you (God only knows)
God only knows what I'd be without you (what I'd be without you)
God only knows what I'd be without you (God only knows)
God only knows what I'd be without you (what I'd be without you)
God only knows what I'd be without you (God only knows)
God only knows what I'd be without you (what I'd be without you)
God only knows what I'd be without you (God only knows)
God only knows what I'd be without you (what I'd be without you)
God only knows what I'd be without you
Look, everyone here has a wholesome story to share and it melts my heart. But I came for that part of The Boys S2
I've been a fan for so many years so great to see it on UA-cam.
He knows me better than I know myself...how can that be? God only knows... don't worry baby? I'm so blessed

"I can do whatever I want. I can do whatever the FUCK I WANT!!! I CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANT!!!!"- Homelander (2020)
lmao
Just Love The Beach Boys. ♥️
The best song ever ,Brian a huge genius ,he is from another galaxy ❤️❤️❤️
The Beatles' "Here, There And Everywhere" was inspired by "God Only Knows". John Lennon and Paul McCartney heard Pet Sounds at a party and went back to Lennon's house to write it. Paul McCartney once called "God Only Knows" "The greatest song ever written."
Thank´s for pointing that out!
And being a Beatles fan all my life I never really liked that song but God only Knows is perfection.
I understood from a documentary the year before Pet Sounds, Brian was really into Rubber Soul. He used it for inspiration. In the documentary.
Hey beautiful song so well harmonized... Thank you
This is a powerful song. Started getting emotional at the intro. Thank God, for Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Dennis Wilson, Al Jardine & Carl Wilson.
this has to be the BEST song to describe peoples feelings of love, greatest song ever
Brings tear to my eye !! I grew up to this music
This was the song being played during the ending scene from "The Wonder Years" when Winnie Cooper broke up with Kevin Arnold as they were boarding two different busses at the end of their class trip. Very moving 😥.
Que hermosos recuerdos de mi juventud !! Reuniones y encuentros en la década del 60'!!!
Big Love brought me here.
Toys Story 4 trailer bought me here. I'm in tears 😭
John Harvey Pulmones me too😂😭

Nigga you said that in another video 😂
2003 onwards: Love Actually bought me here...
2013 onwards: Bioshock Infinite brought me here....
2019: Toy Story 4 brought me here....
Everyone: song's been nearly perfect since 1969 ^-^
I’m an atheist. But when I hear this song it makes me believe a higher power had to have brought Brian Wilson here to put his genius into the world. It makes me feel pure love. It’s just a perfect song.
Your organs work all alone perfectly god only knows how!
Believe
Yes there is.. His name is Jesus and He loves you so much even right now. He only wants you to find time to know Him and He'll reveal Himself to you more and more. Love you ❤️
hahahaha, the classic “i’m an atheist, but…” nice try buddy
I'm Christian I'm not going to preach to anyone. One thing I learned from n.a. a god of your understanding. Or like a friend said God good orderly direction.
Great music will Never die, even after we’re all gone, not the Great music 🎵🎼🎶🎸 ever💕
Perfect. Instrumentation done by The Wrecking Crew, music by Brian, vocals by the boys - perfect marriage. One of my favourites!
I CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANT
