First of all it is her story to tell it's about her life that has been shattered because of his mistake but katie is a strong woman until she couldn't handle the pain anymore so she starting drinking but before that she stayed strong for herself and her son and yes bill loves his son but bill is a jerk because he had cheated on her with steffy at the beginning of their first marriage she forgave him then he decided to cheat with her sister and she ouodnt until she knew or though she could trust him again and when did what she had to do to protect herself bill left her because he thought she had a standard he had to be on but she just needed to know that she could trust him again and of course bill didn't understand and he didn't care that whatever spell be put on brooke brooke fell for it and it tore her and her sisters relationship apart and be didn't care because in the end he got what he wanted,or so he thought until he started having second thoughts and didn't know that until brooke left that he just wanted katie but bill us to wanted her because his girlfriend was gone amd he used katie as a second choice
