Everyone thinks they're the exception because they are the main character of their world. Until it all comes crashing down. It only gets worse with age.
The funny thing is Bert Kreischer is even fatter and more unhealthy, but didn’t hurt himself because he’s also incredibly lazy. Tom basically got carried away and forgot that he’s now a middle-aged guy.
Don't play any form of basketball if your skeleton is made out of bulsa wood and you're carrying 300 pounds of pure fat over that skeleton and you don't do regular physical activity in the first place.

My break was closer to the elbow joint but the humerus was broken in 3 places, required 2 plates and 14 screws, that still live in my arm going on about 30 years now, maybe 28 or 29, but it was in the 90's, I was 14. I still remember the sound of snapping bone vividly, and this was particularly hard to watch. At least I was young without a bunch of extra weight on me.
