Great job decorating! Everything is so pretty and festive. The black accents in your cushion covers really pop against the furniture. You all look so happy and content including the fur babies. My husband is decorating for us this year because I'm unwell. I wish I could send you pics. Lol. It's not his area of expertise, to say the least, but I gotta love him for trying! Valerie I love the porch. Absolutely beautiful! You always do such a nice job. Milo is just the most loving cat. The way he snuggles his little head against your neck speaks volumes. Please don’t let him freeze this winter. If he doesn’t want to come in, or you don’t want him in, you can buy houses that you can plug in to electricity and they stay heated. Valerie I can’t wait to see your home totally finished and decorated. You are a good decorator. You guys take care and have a very Merry Christmas. All my love to all of you. God bless all of you.

The porch looks so nice. I love those doggos and the cat. We took in a lost white duck in the summer. Quacky the boy is Quacky the girl. Started laying eggs. One each day for the last 3 days! Finally have all our decorating done. It took me awhile. I am 74 and slow for sure. I love those mountain views. ❤

Valerie, the porch looks great! When you lit up the big wreath I had to catch my breath! It is lovely! Is there much of anything that is as sweet looking as a dog with its butt in the air and that tail wagging?! Max stole my heart in that shot! Milo is so loving....my cat would probably prefer death over cuddling.... but I love her anyway.

My husband purchased extra long zip ties that I use to hold Christmas garland and outdoor lights on my porch banisters. They are easy to use and easy to remove after the holidays. This idea might work for you as well. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Oh that Milo is such a sweet boy! And Willow and Maxx are so precious too. Your front porch looks terrific. You can gather some pine cones and add cinammon for the proch and put them in containers with sticks and branches for a decorative touch as well! Such fun living in the woods and using things around you to decorate. I think your little gnomes are as cute as can be too. You did a great job on the garland and putting up the wreaths. It really looks so cozy. In spite of all the "help" you received from your assistant Mr. Milo! You have accomplished so much, Valerie. Milo is so loving, but unfortunately, he got in a cat fight with the neighbors cat. At least we think that's what happened. He just showed up on the porch, all scratched up. We took him to the vet, and he's OK. Just scarred up a little bit. Thanks so much for watching. ❤️

Wowwwww what a perfect area to buy & remodel your home the why u'll want it. Now the leaves are gone & trees are pretty bare the mountains are ALL around u so beautifully blows me away Blessing & love love the front porch & one day to be your she shed. I put 2 little trees on my parents, my grandparents Graves today they had lights on them & a wreath on my daddy sister grave & my daddy other sister & her husband flowers. Christmas was my parents favorite year.

You could put small eye bolts under the top rung of your deck railing. Use three, one on each end and one in the middle between each of the full length posts. In summer they can be used for Independence Day swags. In winter you can use to hang your garlands or lights. We use zip ties through the small eye bolts

I took a little rescue in, he's a little yorkiepoo. And he like Willow hates to go to the groomers. Lol! Believe me, he's had more than one bad haircut but I just tell him he's so beautiful and he believes it!! Lol. I love him with what ever kind of haircut he has 💖. Milo is going to love batting at the garland you hung up for him! You always do a great job decorating, it looks so good. An old farm crate, or two, you can decorate with each season would be perfect for the spot by your door, it would be a good perch for your displays when you want more height, and since you had to give up Tim’s firewood holder, lol. I can hardly wait to decorate for Christmas but I also don’t like to rush past Thanksgiving. I like combing the pumpkins with my red berry Christmas wreath, it’s very similar to your front door. Love seeing what you come up with for next fall. I bet your new neighbors appreciate the view.

Love the little set of three trees. So they don't fall over maybe use concrete blocks. Let the tree trunk set in the hole and have the bottom stand be under the block. Would require two concrete blocks.......you could paint the blocks or cover with Christmas paper, etc. Also, seeing the ashes made by the burning wood I saw a fb post on all the benefits and uses of the wood ash. You might google......I said on the post when I read it that if I had the ash I would bag it up and sell it :) From SE Kansas 🌻
