I just read Yvonne's book over the weekend and I read it from cover-to-cover, which is something I don't do. I highly recommend for anyone with a dream.
So, if you don't read books from cover to cover, how do you read them then?!!
@@francineumutoni8961 Well, you can skim, skip chapters, read the first and last lines of each paragraph, only read the intro and conclusion of each chapter, read half the book and leave it for a next year.
There are many ways to read a book and not read in its entirety 😭

@@francineumutoni8961 some books are not really deep or ramble on :-) . I skip parts to get to the conclusion when I read such books.

The aspect of Insecure as a story that I’ll miss is the mundane, unique aspects of black womanhood being on display. It made me feel seen. I know it centered on love relationships and how those affected friendships but it started to really get into the complexities of friendship and how dynamic they are, the ebb and flow that comes from people growing and moving and changing while trying to stay connected.
Yvonne pulled the camera trick, she knew the effect, she was already blushing when she reconnected. All well planned
