What a wonderful introduction into William Morris & the effervescent vibrant joy of his pattern art! Your suit is super fun & you wear it well. My husband & I are both artists & have been enchanted by the lyrical but earthly romanticism of the Pre-Raphaelite painters for decades. Somehow we missed the significant connection between Rossetti and * Morris's wife * May as Rossetti's muse. His depiction of her fantastical and unbelievably lush curls gave me the courage to grow and embrace my own. I remain gob smacked that we didn't know or blithely overlooked the significance that the woman who epitomizes Pre-Raphaelite beauty, she who was Rossetti's muse was, in fact, his partner Morris's wife. The last painting of her done when she was older with her extravagant gray curls was one we'd never seen. She remained extraordinarily beautiful and self contained. So glad we found your channel, your suit and you. Thank you for this video.
Dude, you made me laugh and cry with joy so much.. and felt so much pride for what we do. I hope that some day someone like you will talk about my work. I loved this so much, and your style. Impeccable. thank you .
I am completely tickled by your channel..entertaining and educational!😂Delightful, delicious, decadent and FUN! Marvelous suits!!..that you wear so well!Thank you, sir. 🙏🙂
I called my son Morris: he's 25 now and still cross about it. I always love to see and hear you LLB because you are not just passionate but scholarly- Funny charming and expert as well as hard-working and talented- keep spreading the word Sir!
I loved this and loved catching up with your evolution from long ago Changing Rooms days. Perfect afternoon break and a reminder to seriously consider some Morris inspiration for my bedroom walls this winter.
Really enjoyed this. I live in Tamworth and only found out a couple of weeks ago that the little church St Editha's in Amington has a window by Burne-Jones and executed by Morris. I was really excited and set off to take a better look :)
True, but Morris trained Dearle who produced this design for Morris & Co., for which he was Art Director. Therefore, the pattern is certainly Morris & Co.
This is too good to be tucked away on UA-cam.

Oh my, such a way with words. Well done.
Wow, I have so much to learn. Thank you so much.
A GLORIOUS tribute! 🎉
William Morris was incredibly creative. He also wrote fantasy novels that influenced J. R. R. Tolkien.
you really gotta commit when you put on a suit like this
Exquisito
Everything you said.
I always call such a suit a "Split-Enz"-suit.
Yes! Tim Finn circa 1980.
"....nasty shades of gravy." LOL!!!
Shame your suit is made from 'Seaweed' pattern material, a design created by John Henry Dearle and not William Morris.
There you are!

Utterly undulating
Laurence don’t like your shoes 😂you could have made more of an effort 😂😂
Too pompous for my taste...I didn´t like this presentations...
I agree,
