Story resume of the series:
I Will Be Perfect is an animated teen series that tells the story of Grace, a 16-year-old girl whose biggest "goal" in life is to get into Yale Law School so she can finally earn her parents' approval. She has spent her entire life striving for perfection in everything she does. This constant need for everyone's approval has resulted in many mental health issues that she hides and never dares to discuss for fear of becoming a burden to others. But what happens when her her lifelong best friend confesses feelings for her and her new friend Mae Lee shows her a new way of life? Which side will Grace choose? Will she defy her controlling parents’ wishes and be true to herself? Or will she live up to the expectations of those around her, falling miserably into her perfect predetermined box?
