For a healthy date palm, cut the older leaves to about 4 to 6 inches away from the date palm so the flowers can hang from them and also making them grow faster.

You have to plant it close to each other when it is big, then we dig out the female and plant it according to the rules. (We can not determine which seed is male or which is female).
