I be just imagining performing this in front of the whole school and everybody be super impressed because of my incredible talent Edit: I got to learn the dance, but I'll never get to perform it at school, because I've already graduated

Only my English teacher knows l have a talent on dancing so l might have a chance idk ! If l have a chance or not lm still gonna try to show it ! 😊
Gonna put my progress. Day 1: Got until the first chorus, i already had learned the chorus beforehand so it wasn't that hard, was just making it look better, took about 20 minutes to learn the first part, so far so good, im trying to make my hands go straighter so the movements look sharper. Day 2: Polished the chorus, i swear the most times i do it the most i find it difficult, im trying to focus on straightening my limbs and so on. Also trying to figure out how to dance as an OT1. Day 3: Finally satisfied with how it turned up! Got to minute 1:06 so I will consider first part done, now, i started practicing the hand movements, they are easy to replicate but hard to follow as its really fast, will keep practicing on this one. Day 4/5/6: Sorry for not updating, I've been taking a break! I practice it between my spare times, so far I've gotten up the second chorus so id say im half way there, definitely if you're still reading at this point and don't know if you should try it, i suggest go ahead! It has taught me how to control my body so much. Day i forgot, but after last week im re-taking this dance, i focused on practicing tutting and related exercises so the dance could improve, so Day 1 again, going towards the second chorus yay. Day 2: I recorded myself to see what my friends thought about it, so far i like how it looks! Day 3: Still practicing the tutting exercises to make the chorus and so on look better.
-------------------------------- TRANSLATION (sorry if something's wrong but i don't speak english haha) Okay, I started learning it from yesterday but I will still record my progress here. It took me 1 hour and a half and I got to the minute 1:07 Day 2: I felt that I advanced faster than yesterday. It took me 45 minutes. I have been dancing for about 2 years to kpop songs and other genres, I have never gone to dance classes or something like that, much less have any experience in tutting, but I still managed to finish learning choreography and dance it from one decent way. Cheer up guys, if I can you can too, it's true what everyone says, just practice a lot and be persistent and sooner or later you will be able to do it, believe in yourself, nothing is impossible.
My personal tips for doing this dance: -put it to the lowest speed you’re comfortable with (nobody should go with original speed or 0.75 honestly, try with 0.25 or 0.5) in order to capture every pose and make sure you execute it correctly. Using a mirror is always helpful -tutting requires perfect angles and extended arm movements along with stretched arms, so please stretch before you practice! Try to imitate the way Irene and Seulgi hold their arms (90 degrees angles) and make sure your fingers are as clean as the hands. There are times when they’re spread or when they’re together, big thumb spread while the other 4 fingers are kept together, etc. Squares or diamonds they make with their movements, make sure to notice that some diamonds may have 90 degrees angles which make them similar to a square but there are some others which don’t (in the chorus movement where you climb by forming 2 diamonds using your lower arms) -timing is really important. If you don’t know how to count you could try and search for a tutorial or try to use the lyrics especially in the chorus (the lyrics represent the chorus’s rhythm so it also helps if you try to sing along and do the chorus moves based on each syllable ) -Not much footwork or lower body movements, but make sure you pay attention when their legs are spread or kept close together, and whenever they shift their weight from side to side, etc.. Details always make the best results -take your time, seriously. The first two choruses start the same but then change movements while keeping the speed extremely fast, trying to memorise it all and keeping your angles perfect is going to take a lot of time, so it’s fine if you mess up a lot at times. Good luck learning this! I learned most of it in 4 days, with 3 hours of practice each day and then occasionally dancing it at any time to memorise it easily. I still mess up even now, so I guess I still have to practice
@kthleen laurl No problem! At the start, I just separated the different parts of the song (intro, verse1, pre chorus1, chorus1, verse2, etc.) and started from 0.25 all the way to the normal speed! I looped certain parts a lot and monitored my mistakes in the mirror. After succeeding doing the moves while watching the video on my phone, I tried to do the moves just from my memory (without looking at the phone) and it definitely helped!
SHARING MY PROGRESS! A bit of background abt me: ive been dancing since i was young(3) and have been into hiphop dances. I stopped dancing for a bit bc i couldnt take dance lessons nor could i learn dances on the internet, but now i have been doing kpop covers and joining competitions for a year. I can learn dances pretty quickly but it has to have a "catchy" feel or else i have to watch it a million times before learning it. Day 1: WhAT THE ACTUAL FUCK- OK so i learned the first half of the first chorus and irene's solo in the bridge and im really amazed at how they can dance this flawlessly😫 but then again they practiced this dance for 3 months and learned the basics of tutting for a month. It's time for bed but im gonna learn the whole first chorus bc im inlove with this dance and i really want to learn it.😃😃 Day 2: i kinda got the chorus down, and now im gonna attempt to learn the 1st prechorus and the whole 1st. Surprisingly, i can execute it pretty well and its actually an easy dance; just fast. and its an arm workout xD. I suggest to do some stretching before hand when dancing this to relax your muscles and be able to move more than you can😊. I just need to learn the intro, the first verse(Seulgi's part) and the bridge and last chorus! Me and a friend of mine plan to cover this dance and join a competition! Of course, after quarantine and all,, But we're still thinking about whether or not if we should have backup dancers.. anyway, ill update soon teehee~ I had to do the dishes so in the mean time i was monitoring the dance! I watched on 0.5x and focused on their posture and how this moves to that. I kept watching and repeating on some parts i got but didnt get. I recommend monitoring this dance especially if you get confused a lot. It's what i usually do before i start learning a choreo, i watched it either on 0.5x or 0.75x.. i also recommend to use a laptop when learning a choreo. Not only do you see the dance better and clearer but you can also dance to it on 0.8x which can help you lots when dancing on normal speed! I recommed it especially for people who arent good at catching small details such as how the fingers move. Day 4: i finally learned the intro and Seulgi's first verse- its so fast hnnggg.. im proud to say that i can dance the song in one take! I still have to learn the last hook and chorus tho, and then im going to polish the dance a lot since my movements are kinda wonky. Im about to learn the last hook and chorus and then im gonna shower hihihi. I LEARNED THE WHOLE FUCKING DANCE IM DOOONNNNNEEEEEEEE wow seriously i thought this would take a week for me to learnㅋㅋㅋ the dedication i have mMM! this is such an arm workout,, this choreo really requires a lot of patience or else you wont really this dance quicklyㅠㅠ i had to watch fancams to check their posture and to get clearer movements like for this part 2:29. I'm gonna polish some more(meaning making sure i get the footsteps right and am in sync with the music) thEN ill shower teehee :D

And l’m kinda fast on learning dances caus el have passion like you ! Everyone can dance but those who have passion gets easier and its clean yk ! I’ma try to learn this dance ! I haveee to !!
Fun fact: this dance style is called vogue. Also, it has some influence os waacking (another dance style). They both got popular in USA in the late 80s and early 90s (even though they began before). They originated on the gay comunity as a way of expresion, espetially influenced by black people. In adition, this dance is very similar to the style called tutting (i know it sounds gross but it has nothing to do with the actuall thing 😂)
i wasn't watching particularly closely, but i only ever saw one missed angle. out of EVERY ANGLE IN THE DANCE. that is BEYOND IMPRESSIVE! mad props to Seulgi and Irene for mastering this incredible dance!
this dance is so detailed and they do it so well i feel like i’m watching professional dancers instead of idols 😵💫 this is gonna be so hard to learn omg
This was sooooo hard for me to memorize, It took me one full week to get the whole choreography. But it's kinda simple once you memorize everything. So make sure to keep attention to details and memorize it. This dance doesn't require much flexibility so everyone can learn it. (And it's very satisfying to dance while looking at a mirror lmao) Good luck guys!
So Ik i haven't made one of those comments telling my progress but i thought it would be good to share that i have finished learning the dance! I hope the rest of you who are learning finish with flawless results. REMEMBER ALWAYS TRY YOUR BEST!
It literally took me 1 week to learn the whole dance, much longer than I usually do when I learn other dance. Like for 2 days I could finish the whole song.
tip if y’all are trying to learn it: turn it on .5 speed and screenshot each time they hit a shape, learn the order of the shapes from the screenshots and then add the feet and try to do it with the video at .75 speed and eventually, you’ll get to full speed! i did it this way and it wasn’t too bad! still a challenge but totally possible :)
I learned this whole choreography in about 2/3 days and it's probably one of the hardest choreos i have ever learned but once u get the hang of it it gets easier (if you have time, learn this choreo, its really fun) :)
I have been dancing kpop for 1 year and even so the choreography is very difficult, first of all if you see this video it is because you want to learn to dance (because or if you would not see the original video, duh) so instead of being demotivated by commenting on things like " NEVER ACHIEVE THIS "" IS IMPOSSIBLE "dance and practice, in the time given to write those comments you could learn one step or another, take the time you need, nobody forces you to learn the dance in an hour or in One day, Irene and Seulgi took almost two months to learn the choreography, so instead of rushing to finish quickly, go slowly and safely, it is better to learn the choreography WELL in a long time than to learn the steps wrong quickly, so do not lose motivation, you can :D
It’s really hard to learn it despite the hard choreo and camera movement but I put it on 0.25% and stop at every move. Learned it for five days but still not that perfect. 😂😂
I'm going to share my progress!I started learning choreography the by the beginning of 2020 so I am new to this(I used to learn those trendy dances from tiktok and instagram but WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT I don't consider that dancing I started doing that in 2018 I think).I am trying my best to teach myself how to dance sharp. Day 1:It took me an hour to learn the intro I am not even in the chorus part! The good thing about me is that when I learn a dance today I am not that good at it but the next day I am better at it than yesterday. But yeah I kept thinking"Why did I get myself into this"haha.I will try to update you tomorrow! Day 2:I really pretty much did anything than just remembering the intro again and learn a bit of the chorus because today I have homework and I couldn't focus because I was only thinking of the homework.Ugh.well I will try to update you tomorrow!
this is taking me literally FOREVER to learn!!! mad respect for seulgi and irene for doing this FLAWLESSLY
Andrea Cuellar YOU CAN DO IT it look them a month to learn this
They had like a month or two to learn this alongside monster choreography! Come one it's not that hard YOU CAN DO IT! I believe in you haha

Now I got to learn it so I can learn water dragon style.(forgot what it is called bc I'm stupid)
FOR REALLL !!
That's what i was thinking!!!😂😂😂
Dude hats off to the choreographer tho-
MAD RESPECT
Gracias por tus videos mirror ...^-^
finished learning yesterday but some parts are stil not good enough
thank you for this!
love that they implemented tutting into a kpop dance yesssss
Ysi
Thissss
Practicando mil veces xd
Vende tu alma al diablo 😳👌🏼
@@xyzuwu7605 no queda de otra 😔👊🏻
this is way better than my musically tutting back in 2017...
MY SPEED IS 0.5X AND I STILL CANT FIGURE IT OUT OMG I WANNA CRI
Try doing it one arm at a time to make it less confusing
I will FUCKING CRY why can’t i match the tutting and footsteps for the main chorus 😭😭😭lord give me strength
I STRUGGLED TOO! until I realised you step with your right foot twice at the start of the chorus then alternate between left and right :)
MUSICALLY TUTTING TAUGHT ME WELL!!!
finalllyyy after so many months of hesitating to do this choreo i'm almost finish in memorizing it and just a little polishing of the angless
my forever question, how come their face looks so pretty both sing and dance it. i look like a dying hippo doing this dance.
Cause thy were great Trainees first before to become idols... Don't forget that Important thing...
Their shadows are even perfect too 😭😂
respect seulgi and Irène is REALLY HARD 😭
this dance is insane
Best choreo ever
Boy choreographies: *exist*
Irene & Seulgi: *hi*
Choreography of the year!?
i wasn't watching particularly closely, but i only ever saw one missed angle. out of EVERY ANGLE IN THE DANCE. that is BEYOND IMPRESSIVE! mad props to Seulgi and Irene for mastering this incredible dance!
The backup dancer at 2:30 on the right is sooo pretty, her beauty is so unique
LMFAO not @ me watching this as if i’m gonna even attempt to learn this choreo
you dance very well congratulations❤❤
this dance is so detailed and they do it so well i feel like i’m watching professional dancers instead of idols 😵💫 this is gonna be so hard to learn omg
WOAH I LEARNED IT IN 3 DAYS YAY
I have learned this dance and the dance is too fun to do I do it every day this choreography is fun
1:36 how can she wink in the middle of this hardcore choreography I'm dead
Cause she practiced so so hard (they said this perfo took 4 months to learn it) and when u feel comfortable, U can add your personality too like her
Thank you sooo much!!! I FINALLY finished the dance!!!!!
I just learnt this bih I’m so freaking happy for my self
Me and my new kpop friend are gonna learn this by Monday (hopefully)
omg this is very hard. i started to learn this choreo yesterday and aaaaaa this will be so hard.. fighting for myself :')
I don't even think with a tutorial I would learn to dance this ahhhkkkkkkkkkkkk
After a whole freaking hour i got both of the choruses
So Ik i haven't made one of those comments telling my progress but i thought it would be good to share that i have finished learning the dance! I hope the rest of you who are learning finish with flawless results. REMEMBER ALWAYS TRY YOUR BEST!
I guess that I already play this video more than 100 time to learn it 😀
Wow. Respect.
It literally took me 1 week to learn the whole dance, much longer than I usually do when I learn other dance. Like for 2 days I could finish the whole song.
When your dancing is more TT-tier but you aspire to one day reach these levels
2:08 nailed it all before suelgis part ends and also in normal speed the whole time and I’m just a 10 year old boy that likes kpop
ya me se la coreo LLORO
Hardest female kpop dance I've ever learned 😭😭 my arms are crying
That's why Irene did a dance cover of Beyonce's Naughty girl because they released this song
I WANTED to learn this, but dude, i don't wanna even try the tutting
OMFG I FINALLY LEARNED IT!!!
when it says 7 minuets ago
im here because of smtown's casting and we are being required to dance this for 60 seconds and wtaf my arms hurt 😀
1:09.....wow that cameraman has some skill!!!!
consider the amount of biceps you'll get from this
tip if y’all are trying to learn it: turn it on .5 speed and screenshot each time they hit a shape, learn the order of the shapes from the screenshots and then add the feet and try to do it with the video at .75 speed and eventually, you’ll get to full speed! i did it this way and it wasn’t too bad! still a challenge but totally possible :)
I thought these two dancers looked like seulgi and irene and I was like “Wow they look very similar!” 🙃
I learned this whole choreography in about 2/3 days and it's probably one of the hardest choreos i have ever learned but once u get the hang of it it gets easier (if you have time, learn this choreo, its really fun) :)
Me a dancer for 4 years is struggling already at 30 seconds 😭😭 now imagine them girl their talent!!
I've learned only the mirrored of the first part lol.
cheer up!
Its so hardddd tho
I learned it it was hardddd
Im the only who loves that "hooo"
In 2:33?
I memorized it in 2hours but doing it in normal speed is soooo hard😭 I'll stay in 0.75x faster for the moment I guess🥲🥲
OMG THE CHORUS IS SO FAST WTWHWBWBBAB
SEULGI- with white thing - M
IRENE- Without white thing - Z
2:08
2:16
How are their shadows prettier than me???
It’s really hard to learn it despite the hard choreo and camera movement but I put it on 0.25% and stop at every move. Learned it for five days but still not that perfect. 😂😂
I really tried learning this like I was gonna get anywhere but I look like a squid while dancing to this
I can't focus on arms and legs at the same time :D It's either one or another
What the heck my wrists literally hurt while seeing this
This dance was hard to learn, it took me a week to make my moves look clean but now I can do this dance with ease. I'm happy
Good luck at anyone who is trying to learn this dance🍀💕
I plan to learn this when im already done with easy and not so hard dances so i will make it perfect with hard
I'M LEARNING THIS FOR GRADES OMFG HELP ME
Im happy to say that im Done with practicing! Omg it took me almost 2 weeks. It so satisfying to execute the steps fast.
i’ve been learning the 2nd chorus for two days now and wow. my arms are about to fall off and i’m only on my 6th arm shape 😭
