  • DRAW THE ISOMETRIC TOP AND FRONT VIEW OF CIRCLE OF DIAMETER 80 MM.
    Isometric view and isometric projection is one of the way to represent designs/drawings in three dimensions. Drawings and Designs are always drawn at 30 degrees in isometric projection.
    it is a method for visually representing three-dimensional objects in two dimensions in technical, geometrical and engineering drawings.

    Had learned this technique in F.E. around 20+ years ago, and had totally forgotten. Came across this video all of a sudden. Brought back so many memories! Engg. drawing was my most favorite subject in engineering. It's been a while though. I still miss my drafter very much :)

    When connecting to midpoints of squire from a point you can only choose 2 points on isometric squire where diagonals are the shortest such as p and r in top view - Right?

      Just make the base rectangle in the isometric view and join the mid points, there is no need to measure the axis line as it is an imaginary line can be of any length....

      as we are making projection so we have to make line of 80mm at an angle of 30 degree to both sides and complete the square as explained

      Dear you can make side view as front view,, only take the 30 degree angle to the left side and 90 degree to the right side, else everything is same.

      It is an Isometric Projection.
      If u see a circle at an Angle of 30 degrees u will find that it looks like an ellipse.

    This method does not produce an accurate drawing of a circle in isometric view. An ellipse is not built of 4 individual arcs.
