Well it's a text channel, of course it is. Some of them have situations similar to real stories but for the most part text channels are fictionalized stories, some more badly written than others
@@moogie1954 Don't be too hard on SF, there are actually some good authors. One I can recommend has a background in cultural anthropology, she's quite good. I can compile a reading list upon request. I mean yes, I can go reread Jane Eyre or finally get around to Portrait of a Lady which is sitting on my shelf, but sometimes I just want some background noise revenge fantasy fluff. It's over 90 degrees here indoors and it's too hot to think😢

But even fictionalized stories need a little realism... otherwise it's just sci-fi stories.
