Nothing towards these young ladies, because they're kids. And having been about bands all of my days I ask, why are they even a part of this? This is a battle of the BANDS! Someone commented that they would go and pull their daughter out of line.....Well, my daughter would have never made it to the line. But I've seen our own people promote this type of behavior all over. We hold these parades and put these young dancing schools in them to shake like crazy in from of everyone. And being from New Orleans and having lived in Mobile, AL.....I can see the look on white folk's faces like, mm mm mm I guess that's how they're raised. KILLS ME!!! Why? Why do we shame ourselves like this? And don't tell me that it's our African heritage! Because even Africans would look at some of these dance teams and think, DAMN!! Force the coaches to think athleticism and creativity when designing uniforms, dance moves and music. This happens everywhere. Just Check out the cheerleaders at PWI schools like UCLA. They sell sex too with skimpy uniforms and suggestive chants and movements. All of these young ladies are talented and young men too. Let's showcase it.
