Excellent video 🏍️. Dan's clearancing one for me. My 1275hp kit is bad ass, (FYI valves, cams, BFH head work rewelding, intake ported, were exactly as he says ) Dan and Aaron are Harley Davidson experts. Plus good dudes. Thanks Hammer for videos and quality work everyone in your shop does. 🧑🏭
Also looking forward to the next one. Milling and using compressed air without safety glasses makes me nervous. I got hit with a hot chip that stuck to my eyelid running a Bridgeport. Always wore glasses after that. Be careful !
She is coming together nicely! Can't wait for episode 3!

I love your press. Great job on the video.
Great knowledge Hammer Dave, your a man of great experience, great to see a person with all that past experience, your a legend. Great to see you dont stop the camera when it goes it bit awol, just find a solution. Thats a workshop.
Great video. Appreciate your willingness to show/aid others. Can’t wait to see what this motor sounds like and produces torque/hp. God bless.
The best! Thank you.👍🏼🇺🇸
These guys are awesome! Really awesome! Can't wait to order my hop up kit!
Great job guys! AGAIN! Greetings from Serbia! My kit is going on,with really nice help via e-mail etc from the very Aron at Hammers! They will support you step by step if you really need it!
Thanks for the practical video
....a touch probe and some quick G-Code on a CnC would be real nice too. Also, if you have kids and want to "see" them grow up, get some safety glasses on...all it takes is one second to change your life.
I only have one question. Do you guys sell short blocks? 😄
Hi Dan to set up the crank end play would it not be better to make a shaft slightly undersize for your bearings so you can check the end play without having to press bearings in and out again ?
Do you have to check end play with the tool still attached?
What's the idea about that flywheel scraper ?
Another great video Dan. Cheers
In a racing aplication we want to remove as much drag as possible. With the excess drag it is like trying to run through a swimming pool.
Oil pools up in the sump at the bottom of the cases, and the flywheels spin through it. If we can scrape the oil off the flywheels it reduces drag and in turn frees up horse power.
@@HAMMERPERFORMANCE awesome. I look might look at that when I need to split my cases some day. How much power do you recommend to max out on a stock 98 flywheel ?
Why is there a flat windage scraper against a chamfered flywheel? Shouldn't scraper shape match flywheel shape?
