- Kingda Ka's future is hanging by a thread. The coaster will never be the same again & Six Flags Great Adventure is about to make one of the biggest decisions in history. Kingda Ka is really facing a turn & the next few years will be monumental for this coasters future. Six Flags Great Adventure is changing forever becoming a resort & this is just one of the major changes expected to come to the park in the next few years.

I want six flags to work with intamin to remodel Ka for the future so it can keep thrilling riders for centuries
Six Flags is on good terms with Intamin, but if Zamperla is able to do it for cheaper & Top Thrill 2 doesn't have any major issues then I wouldn't be surprised if they choose Zamperla over Intamin.

Everyone has been getting cold with Intamin lately because they just don’t want to take responsibility for flaws in their designs. I’ve heard Universal is done with them after their two projects complete and Sea World parks had major trouble with them with their last projects, which is why they partnered with B&M next. For Cedar Fair, I’ve heard the conclusion on the plate is there was an issue with the design that contributed to the accident on Top Thrill but Intamin just pointed fingers at others despite the report from inspectors. Cedar Fair decided not to sue them over it and make it very public, but this lack of accountability has been noted across the industry. I suspect Intamin is in big trouble going forward unless they bring in new management that is willing to be accountable for design flaws.

I hope they just make it a hundred feet higher and make the launch 150=mph so it will forever hold both the titles

that would be a dream come true to keep and regain both titles, but in reality it would never open! LOL. Between parachuters floating in the air space and NJ weather elements, any taller would probably not be too reliable. But still a dream!

The park once more has no interest messing with the attraction, besides due to the coaster's placement in the park, it would be nearly impossible to do major changes. As it's right behind the safari park parking lot, and the drop tower, zumanjaro. Trust me this attraction isn't going anywhere.

Breaking news: six flags is partnering with Huss to reimagine kingda ka. The company, known for its top spin flat ride model, has never built a roller coaster
Next year they will revive RCCA which will do a major retracking to El Toro
Well in the 1980’s, Arrow merged with Huss and built Viper at Darien Lake. That merger lasted only a few years

Zamperla has indeed been out to six flags to survey the future of Ka’s lifespan considering the supports are rapidly destroying themselves due to the constant stress from Zumanjaro and the fact that Six Flags has placed Zumanjaro on the “temporary closed” list and will only be operational on select days tell you a lot!
How do you know Zamperla has been there?
@@Loopingthrills I wish I could say more but unfortunately I can’t and don’t want anyone getting in trouble but without a doubt trust me when I say they’ll be changes later down the road depending on how good TT2 pans out
I want to be surprised if in the coming years the get rid of the hydraulic launch and replace it with a pneumatic instead. Same power but more reliable.
next year is the 20th. i expect them to keep it until the end of next year

This Flags Great Adventure currently has no interest messing around with ka. Infact one of the trains got an update last year, the coaster is certainly cared about and I don't see them changing Kingda Ka for the next ten to five years.
A train getting an update last year before the merger isn't a tell. Pre-merger I'd be inclined to agree with you nut now that Zimmerman will be in charge corporate may decide to go the Top Thrill 2 way if they like the results.
@@Loopingthrills Cedar fair is still operating Xcelerator without issue, and they understand the love with these Hydraulic Launch Coasters. The fact that you're blaming it on the merger is extremely misleading. Besides due to Kingda Kas station placement it would be nearly impossible to add a spike unless they somehow they get ahold of a more powerful LSM. Kingda Ka is going nowhere as of right now, assumptions aren't set in stone yet the tone in the video, you make it seem like your theory is correct when in reality there is no way of knowing if it is.

They renovated and rethemed it to top thrill 2 with a lsm launch, but it is currently closed for mechanical issues

Hope they work with Intamin to actually improve it and show CP what they missed out on. TT2 was an unbelievable downgrade from TTD.
I actually think Zamperla may be giving Intamin a run for their money. I haven't been on Top Thrill 2 just yet, but from what I've heard its a much better ride than the original & people are loving Zamperla's new lightning trains. Zamperla is also cheaper than Intamin which is a big deal.
Millennium Force, Maverick and TTD all Intamin and always broken down. Maverick gets broken down weeks at a time

@@Loopingthrills what can I say, people aren’t smart. I got to ride twice and it’s mediocre. The reverse spike is cool but doesn’t come remotely close to making up for the removal of the 0-120 mph launch. The one we get now is unbelievably weak and the “roll back” is pathetic. You don’t even get fully vertical.
