Hello everyone! Here I am with another cover song, "Deserving of Life" from Amazarashi. I discovered this song 2 years ago and I'm really impressed by everything about it: the touching melody, the lyrics which make me think deeply afterwards, the emotional singing by Amazarashi and also the beautiful version of Aimer... I'm so in love with it!
I'm really glad to have the opportunity working with Felicia Chen, an amazing musician and artist/illustrator who has the loveliest personality!!! ♡ She made every single track of this instrumental version and I can't tell how wonderful it sounds to me!! Seeing this song's notification hit me like a truck.
The Nier/Drakenguard series has been stuck in my head ever since they were introduced to me. I have yet to find stories that exist on the same wavelength as them; goofy, violent, and somehow heart wrenching; with music that fully embraces those themes and amplifies them. What I can fully say after watching this video is that your cover fully embodies what made the original song so emotional.
