YES! FF6/3 was a formative gaming experience for my childhood. I had a single save file with like 700hours on it, maxing out every esper on every character, min/maxing stat gains... I wish I could somehow have kept that save file.
DKC Aquatic Ambience... I could listen to this for hours... The music mix with the atmosphere of deep water so well.
D moneyyyyyy
then get the hq version , it is downloadable. they put the link there. It seems somebody got the original stuff or something.. search the vid
My favorite soundtrack with Corneria from Starwing, and battle mode from Super Mario Kart.
Pure genius.
They have a 10 hour version on UA-cam
I Remastered it :) ua-cam.com/video/egBdKIM39MM/v-deo.html

No im the top i'm sure of that
Top gear is more famous in brazil than in other places

This is my entire childhood in one video. Man the nostalgia is overwhelming. Nothing but smiles and tears of joy listening to all this compiled together. Wow. I wish my kids understood. I feel bad they won’t ever have an entire childhood shaped by greatness.
Just 2 or 3 generations of mediocrity~ Gaming was just better when options were a little more limited. It just had to be better to get published.
Killer Instinct, I remember getting the CD soundtrack with my preorder, wow that was sweet!
The Donkey Kong Country series is one of the few snes games that has digitized sprites that isn't just a gimmic and is genuinely fun and most importantly has some KICK ASS MUSIC
Which ones did?
That was another one of Graeme Norgate's wasn't it? He did Killer Instinct and the sound design part of Goldeneye 64 and Perfect Dark.

I always preferred the music from the Genesis and NES over the SNES. The SNES sounded like the music was being run through a cheap hollow box. There was no presence. Honestly the highs sounded muddled, mids were ok at best and the low end was lacking when compared to Genesis titles. SNES never reached the level of The Golden Axe series or Streets of Rage series. The Super Metroid OST is a great price but it sounds like trash.. compare it to how it sounds in the mega drive.. it’s night and day.
The best console of all time, with the best soundtracks of all time!
2:34 yo, this song is really good!
I was Looking for this!!!
Bird up!
The BEST track of Megaman X, imo.

Super Metroid was such an outstanding game. The music, the atmosphere, Samus, the item system and suit upgrades... very fond memories of that game.
I would die to get my hands on a copy of that melotron sample from the game
soundtrack to F-Zero was amazing.
I always wanted to play F-Zero for the music... even though i wanted to play other racing games more, as a kid :p

Stickerbrush Symphony at 32:52 is a masterpiece. Even for me that always played only Mega Drive/Genesis, I know how to appreciate a timeless music like this.
closest thing to a time machine- brings me back to being 10-years old.

13:04 09. Super Metoid - Kenji Yamamoto - Theme of Super Metroid @ - gives goosebumps
10:44 i love that music feels like im in the rain forest peace and quite
if i had to choose my favourite from these 30, it'd be that one :)
DKC2 is absolutely mesmerizing... I have so many memories coming back :)
I just discovered this channel, and I gotta say, I wish I found it sooner. I love videogame music and this is a great way to find more songs for systems I dont own ir never played. Thanks for posting these!
32:52 the best symphony stickerbrush, David Wise is a genius. O que esse cara fez em DK1 DK2 & DK3 foi surpreendente. Battletods foi legal, mas nenhuma trilha sonora supera a de DK2. The best!
Yes bro🥺
já viu o fábio lima tocando a stickerbrush?
33:16 still make me cry
im too :S
just the best!
Kinda sounds like blue oyster cult

Killer instinct! My favourite fighting game ever! Rare did some amazing work on the Nintendo. Listening to that music just bought back so many memories of sitting on the floor in front of the tv with my brothers playing that game. Thank you!
Thank you for this.
I was fortunate enough to play many of these games as a child and it was an utterly magical time.
SNES is definitely my favorite console of all time and has the most memorable music to me...very nostalgia being an 80's baby ❤
Amazingly, over a quarter of a century later and I can still recite most of these themes in my head.
Amazing job! Especially putting together all that footage =)
Anyone else think Mega Man X shoulda got more representation. I'm not exagurating when I say the whole game is a bop
This was the best snes ost compilation I've seen so far. Because in the other videos I saw, they were always the same songs! Good job!
Thank you so much! My SNES is always with me. I still love to play these masterpieces.
Unfortunately I never finished Battletoads. From my point of view the "Lost Vikings" Soundtrack was also great.
Just wow. If I had made a list myself, it would have been exactly like this one. Thanks man.
Thank you for such stellar job. You just brought me back to my childhood. I was born in 82, so the SNES was my life when I was a kid.
I definitely agree with the first level of Castlevania and ActRaiser. These two sound tracts have always been on the top of my list.
15:38 is will have this in my head until i die!!!
Same here
me too
Chrono Trigger's number one!
Now thats what I like to hear.
Ya bit they didnt even pick the best song off the ost
@Jorge Gomez very good indeed. But corridoors of time. Frogs theme. Both i think are way better.
@Jorge Gomez though honestly when talking old squaresoft rpg music, its like having a pile of gemstones and arguing which is shiniest
Actually it was #30. He started with #1. Though clearly its not in any specific order or else DKC2 would be #1
I still think the artist time traveled to make this
Special thanks to whoever put this together. This is great.
Pasan los años, y aun escucho este compilado musical, realmente te quedo perfecto, gracias!
Escucho y escucho este List de soundtrack y no me aburre =) es increible esta recopilacion
I didn´t remember the Castlevania IV OST and..., OMFG it´s just amazing!
Man, the OST is just AMAZING. I listen to it for 29 years now....
Awesome edit, great list! Good god I miss feeling. Games of these standard were such an incredible art.
Final Fantasy III (VI) by Nobuo Uematsu - Terra at 23:52 brings a tear to my heart. It is truly a masterpiece with its somber tone and its abality to fill me with joy and sadness of the journey ahead.
Stickerbrush symphony... My childhood's soundtrack
LordMark 69 and yet you don't know its name... it's stickerBUSH, not BRUSH
I think Stickerbrush is correct tbh

Hi Mark,
Yes the Donkey Kong Country Soundtracks are all awesome.
Which is your favorite DK title?
Thanks
Andre ;-)
The best hands down is DKC2... though my favorite theme is not stickerbrush symphony like everyone else... mine is Mining melancholy... best SNES theme.
This is so well done. I bet it wasn’t easy to capture the best of from so many games. Wow

Thank you for these sweet, sweet memories.
Unbelievable how long it has been....
Lots of great cuts here, but Aquatic Ambience and Stickerbush Symphony are in a class of their own. Those tracks straight-up move me to tears, they're so beautiful.
Terranigma the underworld awesome!!!
Yup you cant talk about all time gaming OSTs without mentioning Terrinigma.. it has the best soundtrack on the SNES imo
such an incredibly track
Pretty good list. Thanks for putting this together. Biggest omission is Final Fantasy II (IV). Easily top 30 over some of the other picks.
That's some fine work right there, mate!
Pretty good list!
31:19 best track ever
OHHHH SHIT!!!! THIS SHIT IS 🔥 🔥!!!
I like Metroid
Sparkster 4:10 - Never played this game but holy shit that's an awesome soundtrack.
You should play rocket knight adventures and the sequel sparkster, they are great games and both have advantages over each other
Played it on an emulator a couple months ago. It's a great game, but kinda tough if you're bad at everything like me.
Thanks for this SNES drunk …wasn’t feeling to well closed my eyes played this vid it was definitely relaxing and nostalgic
I've listened to this compilation with my friends idk probably hundreds of times over the last 5 or 6 years. It's so well known in our group we just call it "that" playlist or "the" playlist. Well freakin done.
5:52 brings back memories. Such a good soundtrack for opening up the game.
I don't know what it is about this mix but it's just awesome. Sure the source music is great but just the song selection and order is really jiving with me right now. Great to listen to while working.
Killer Instinct and the music cd that came along with the game... love those days back then as a child. Time flies...
That's why i love the retro, the song" the games, and the vibes, still amazing even until now
2:31 of course!!!!! My fav of all time.
Mega Man X series for snes have a very very good soundtrack in general, sometimes I listen to many of them. Crush Crawfish is one of the best also.
fuk yea
this one is on point!
wow what a great selection!!!!!! we have the exact same taste in music my friend!
Que nostalgia! Saudade da época de auge do SNES.
Só no Emulador
There's a reason why this video kicks of with the Killer Instinct main theme. What a thing of beauty and what a way to kick of the best SNES soundtracks.Such a BANGER!
I know this video is old but... man so many wonderful memories. Super Metroid has some of my favorite themes to this day.
We are now way older than when we first played these games, yet we don't feel any different today when we listen to this!
Wow Killer Instinct! Thanks for sharing
Dude this was a fantastic Top 30!
killer instinct gave me a river tears of happiness, Good job! :D
The graphics in TMNT 4: Turtles In Time have aged really well.
Sprite games usually have this on their side: if for nothing else, the graphics at least are watchable. CGI/poligonals have to be really good, or hide their imperfections really well to resist the test of time.
(Same for cartoons: bad cell/flash animation may hide their problems better, but bad CGI is a pain in the eye to watch!)
@@EuMesmoVII Mostly why Symphony of the night is still one of the best looking PS1 game

Your selection is great my friend 👍🏼
You know this list is gonna slap when the first track is Killer Instinct! Man the music the snes could create wow!
thats not even the version from the snes, its from the arcade machine version of killer instinct :c
Actually it’s the CD version of the soundtrack that came with the original snes cartridge. I still have mine. It’s awesome.
Really lame for a 2 million view video to start off with a big error like that. Now I’m hearing the second game and it’s the same thing
None of these are snes music so far. 3 in
9:06 Me: Ooh! My favorite!!

Nice Video and good OST's listed.
so many memoies with this music. Nice choice
Terranigma has one of the best gaming soundtracks I've ever heard in my entire life. Love that game.
I agree. My favourite game ❤️
Excellent video. This is the best top SNES music video I have seen (I've seen a lot).if I could just recommend 4 soundtracks: Front Mission: Gun Hazard (Nobuo Uematsu and Yasuniro Mitsuda lead composition here), Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of Mana 2), Breath of Fire II (Yuko Takehara from Mega Man 7, Mega Man X, and others), and Rudra no Hihou (Sasai from Mystic Quest). Maybe you already heard them but those are some of my favorites. I'm doing a top 200 video game soundtracks list on Tumblr. I'm looking forward to your future videos.
100% bangers, sweet collection thanks!
Nintendo..THANK YOU for make my childhood great!
Pokey means business never ceases to amaze me. It starts out sounding like a normal 8-bit song, then that transition into heavy metal is PERFECT.
These mixes are great for drawing
it begins with killer instinct's theme! didn't expect this song!
I remember playing it on the guitar just for fun, wishing to play it in a band hahaha nice!

Rock & Roll Racing is one of the best in history and you left it out deserves my like
25 years later and Chrono Trigger's ost is still of epic proportions
My favorite RPG game ever!
The Game: Donkey Kong Country.
The music: Aquatic Ambience.
Such a Fucking Masterpiece.
When donkey Kong comes on it is so soothing and this is truly enjoyable and being a 90s kid at 7 years old playing this for hours just enjoying good time kid time as a kid gotta enjoy the little things in life!😁
Finally, a video I expected to see!
At 34 yrs old for the first time I am actually feeling old now growing up with this :D
The first one already got me gowing😍
The SNES and Sega had some of the most badass video game music of all. When you walked into a arcade during that Era. The music would make you say. This is definitely my scene.
This is absolutely amazing!!
You nailed it. Soundtrack to my childhood
