2:03 Originally, Tiny Skweeks was intended to be published on the Amiga by Titus, dubbed "The Brainies," but that didn't seem to happen, so instead Loriciels took over publishing whilst Titus focused on the SNES version using the "Brainies" name. A prototype of "The Brainies" can be found on the usual sites, with many differences compared to the final game.
I used to obsess about the title music to Rollerpede. With no internet back then I couldn't figure out why it seemed so familiar. It was years later when I finally twigged that it was the coders version of Duel by Propaganda, the 80s classic. Still love the Rollerpede version of it to this day.
April 95 was the CU Amiga I had that came with Moviesetter and a manual. A much better package. Being able to open Eric Schwartz's animation working files was pretty damn cool. I'm certain you could create graphics from scratch in it, but I used to draw and animate in both that and Dpaint. Hell, it's what got me interested in animation as a career 😁
Thanks mate, if you want to get up to some Gobliiins action they should all be on GoG. They are the PC version and don't let the rest hear, but I think it might be the better version of the game.
Pod, like the Dux and Chrome games you'd featured on an earlier CU Amiga coverdisk, was also a hidden game within a commercial title - in this case, it was Lotus III's Easter egg title. And of those, it's by far my favourite. A simple, slick shooter that's aged extremely well.
I didn't know it was included as a secret title in Lotus 3. and looking it up it seems the password to access it is "CU Amiga". So they were involved in some way as they mentioned they paid for the publishing rights to the game.
I have to be careful with Premiere, the music for Stage 1, the western themed level, is an extremely vicious ear worm that can live in my head for days or weeks at a time. Loved the game, the aesthetics were just perfect and it was in that small subset of Amiga games where I had the genuine bought version 😜
Wow ugh! That is actually one of my favourite games? I spent hrs on that one with a friend, it’s fun on 2 player. Once you get the hang of it feels whizzing around everywhere not crashing😂
Seeing all those magazine covers come up and thinking to myself "I bought that one!" This will be a fun watch :)

I love these rambles down memory lane. Every so often I see something here that dusts of a few neurons and evokes happy memories. Thanks :)

Excellent as always :) Goblins was definitely the winner but I've never played it lol

These are the videos I look forward to the most on this site. Huge Amiga lover, and you've unlocked so many amazing memories.

I have a vague memory of CU Amiga getting in a bit of bother with Pod - Something about ELPSA (maybe it needed an age rating or something ?)

Fiiiiiiinaly! I have been wracking my brain for years trying to remember what that 3D game was called 🙂👍
War looks like alot of love went into it!
It does look quite cool, some one really pushed them selves with amos to make it!
Top episode, Amiga games & autumn go hand in hand imo
Thanks! but I think Amiga games and any season go well together 😁
Premiere was such a nice game.

2:14 My memory could be completely wrong, but I believe Fury of The Furries is technically the sequel to this game
I'd recommend goblins 2 or "gobliins" as well. That's the one I started with.
weirdly i think this is just a yr or so before i bought amiga mags. think i was still on lynx mags
Wow that would have been quite the late start with the Amiga and its magazines!
@@GouldFishOnGames yes then i got obsessed until the bitter end of them :) even wrote some articles for AF. and regularly got on their cover CD.
I fucking loved Qubic. I used to jump off the side cos I loved the sound effect so much.
"Which I know some of my viewers really hate". Hello!
I remember a few of your rants about layering lots of ways to fail!
Is that the same POD that was a hidden sub-game in Lotus 3 ?
So it seems, I didn't realize until some one else mentioned it but it turns out the password to get it in Lotus 3 is CU Amiga.
7:58 vegan fleet destroyed 🥕🥕🥕🤭
Its the end of all fruit and veg as we know it!
