This, Today was the last appearance of Cr7 in the world cup. As a Man utd fan I grew up watching him. I will miss him in the next World cup.

it's much more complicated than that narrative, it's not Ronaldo's performances the problem it's that the club couldn't afford to have him in the first place.
Looking back near the end of the season, it feels crazy how great this performance was, and how it kind of suddenly just crashed down
Like, I get that Utd have lots of problems in midfield and centre back but this was so electric, it really felt like everything was clicking into place…
You can see the determination of them all they eventually gave up
I will never understand what went wrong this season. Those saying Ronaldo was the problem this match and west ham prove he wasn't
These highlights don't really tell the story of the game though. I remember the game, the scoreline flattered United, there was a lot of poor play. The problems were there the year before too, its just that Chelsea, arsenal, spurs and Liverpool had bad seasons, meaning united finished 2nd by default, and papered over the cracks.
Not gonna lie, I cried when he left...and I cried again yesterday when he walked on to the pitch...now I realise that he had to leave back in 2009 so he could be one of the best ever because I don't think he would've the same records to his name had he stayed at United. But now he's here and I wish he stays here for long.
