You can't die on the last 5% of any official levels there, XI-X being an exception because it was made in the level editor which is why it's so different
in actuality, the devs probably made it that way. here's my theory on it: they made the health bar not just because it was the last bit of the song and they didn't want you to lose there, they actually portrayed the feelings of the players, regaining full momentum to reach that finish line. but hey thats just a theory, A GAME THEORY
I actually found this out incidentally, I was playing the level & was doing terribly; accidentally skipped the cutscene so I was trying to lose to rewatch it, but it didn't work
The baseball game in the beginning of that part is in present and I was, like, 3 misses away from losing. I missed more than 3 times in the baseball part
Imagine if missing everything in this part changed the cutscene after. Like Paige just goes “Hey, sorry your GARBAGE team LOST. You guys got ANNIHILATED. That must suck.”
It's not that you can't lose, it's that the health bar resets, and you can't take enough damage to lose from full health. I think. That's what I've heard, anyway.
I have beaten the level several times, yet I recorded this [I even recorded not dying on this part twice]. You cannot die on this part. Maybe you encountered a bug or something like that.
Maybe because he's realize that healing always take time to recover, so my theory is during that last part, his mind has change and decide to not give up on a recover and be patient on it. So that's why if you miss, he didn't died. I think the bar is not his health, it's his brain decide. If it reach 0 he'll change ( when you lose he said " I'll never recover " after look up he didn't actually died ) and not be confident anymore. So you as an intern, you are the one who need to control his brain stable ( not controlling his decision ) Sorry i suck at English. That's why the grammar look mess up
They pull this same trick in ADOFAI as well. You can't die on the last 5% of B-X if it's your first time through.

if i could send videos here i would post that one video of someone abusing that mechanic at the end of t2-x
@@jay-virm what you definitely can
the health bar resets during the "i'm stepping away"
no you genuinely cannot lose on the last part of dreams don't stop
once you get past the final cutscene you practically won
@@doraexi that's why you cannot lose, the health bar resets during the "i'm stepping away"
@@wolfplay013 you cannot lose because the game doesn't let you take damage even if you miss
@@doraexi you can literally see at the end that op literally took damage
@@wolfplay013he didn't take damage, he missed but the game didn't deal dmg to him

Exactamente eso👍🏻

HOW IS THIS SO RELATABLE??
You only cant lose on this part because... I have lost when getting the checkpoint.
You can lose early on, but he doesn't die, he just says: "It's pointless, I'll never recover."
You can't lose on the last part of the level
that part is a memory... which is in the past, so it doesn't matter if you hit or not.

@@virusgames7409 also the death thing only happens if the ‘virus’ is present at that time…
Lucky have an heart attack (He died)
What a shame 😊

I noticed that health bar my first time through and right that this might be the case
i swear i've died here before but maybe not
i think devs made it because the last part is really hard because of speed
I think this is done on purpose (just look at the song name)
Yeah, I think not being able to lose supports the mood of this part of the level
that aint gonna be a perfect tho 💀
immortal flaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmeeees
nah lmao
