Homie and I drove 3 hours from the Inland Empire for the Bakersfield show. Parking was surprisingly easy, we ended up right around the other side of the building complex where enough people were already parked. I urinated in a large Dasani bottle and dumped it out right outside my door and we headed to the line, which for us started on the sidewalk behind my car. As soon as we got in line a guy at least the age of 40 asked anyone around him willing to respond, “So Trump or Biden 2024?” I don’t remember hearing anyone answer. My friend and I were already having a discussion about Islam in the car that ended when the show started lmao. Within a few minutes the line proceeded to move steadfast, and in no time we were in. Grabbed the “Skeleton holding Shane’s head” shirt (which I am wearing for the first time today, what luck to be blessed with cast). The openers were all great and handled the hecklers well. Good comedians. Seeing the dude that yelled, “Where’s Shane?!” get roasted by the whole crowd and absolutely destroyed on the mic was hilarious. No doubt, the honks were in full force that night but most of them seemed like good people. It was nice to finally see the Big Kahuna in action, and the security bit was so funny. It’s dope to have the boys much closer now in Austin, I’m glad they’re living in the same city again. Looking at the same moon type beat. Definitely wanna visit now with my squad. Matt is definitely due up for a Netflix special (or two, please) at this point, as nice as it is, the 'fine' Tina Yu doesn't cut it as far as well-earned accolades go...make sure to debug it 😂
