This video is very misinformative. Please do not get influenced by such videos, my brother graduated few years back from IIT indore CSE, currently he is working at Rubrik with 52 LPA CTC. And he told me that most of his batchmates even from lower branches who were serious with their studies got a very good placement, more than our expectations. Even I on his advice took IIT BHU electronics rather than lower branches in top 7. BHU, Indore, hyderabad are as good as top 7.😊

Not all the branches in top 7 have good placement. what about BS course like chemistry, earth science, GPT where only 20% students (of the total batch size) gets placed, that too in Kanpur, kharagpur. As much as I learned from seniors these branches are exclusively reaserch based and not palcement based, Instead i chose bhu metallurgy over it where all the students registered for placement and 75% got placed. There is no concept of top 7 IITs. Only old 5 IITs are considered mother IITs.Choose better branch and better IIT among 5. Then next 5 ( Gowhati, Roorkee, BHU Varanasi, Hyderabad, Dhanbaad) are equal. Prefer branch among them. He is interested in Aerospace field and would be looking to do his MS from US down the line. at the same time he is also selected at NUS Singapore for Electrical engg. Can you please guide which institute will be best for him and route for doing MS from US will be comparatively easier either from IIT G or NUS Singapore. Thanks
If he is really interested in aerospace engineering then IIT Guwahati mechanical will be a better choice as aerospace is derived branch of mechanical, electrical engineering won't give you the perfect exposure for aerospace. I just got mechanical in IIT KGP and I did the research for branch so it was just my opinion
I am dropper. please answer my query, I have got 99.54 pr in physics and 98.14 pr in maths, 65 percentile in chemistry and overall 96.72 percentile in jan attempt. In April attempt due to huge blunders done by me, in physics I got 92 percentile in physics attempt, 90 percentile in chemistry, 98.99 percentile in mathematics, overall 96.78 percentile , should I take double drop targeting iiitH cse or nit T cse or take admission in gfti cse?

There is no concept of top 7 IITs. Only old 5 IITs are considered mother IITs.Choose better branch and better IIT among 5. Then next 5 ( Gowhati, Roorkee, BHU Varanasi, Hyderabad, Dhanbaad) are equal. Prefer branch among them. Then next Indore, Ropar, Mandi, Patna, Gandhinagar, Jodhpur, Bhuvaneshwar are similar then next----.
Bahiyaa i was not getting cse or elctrical in any top 7 iits and i was getting only chemical and other lower bramches at all top 7 iits so i chose iit bombay chemical is it right decision?

@in_rdssingh Dear Rds, I am a follower of your UA-cam channel and wanted your advice. My Son has cleared JEE advance 2024 CRL 4270 and has got IIT G Mechanical. He is interested in Aerospace field and would be looking to do his MS from US down the line. at the same time he is also selected at NUS Singapore for Electrical engg. Can you please guide which institute will be best for him and route for doing MS from US will be comparatively easier either from IIT G or NUS Singapore. Thanks
If he is really interested in aerospace engineering then IIT Guwahati mechanical will be a better choice as aerospace is derived branch of mechanical, electrical engineering won't give you the perfect exposure for aerospace.
I just got mechanical in IIT KGP and I did the research for branch so it was just my opinion
I am dropper. please answer my query, I have got 99.54 pr in physics and 98.14 pr in maths, 65 percentile in chemistry and overall 96.72 percentile in jan attempt. In April attempt due to huge blunders done by me, in physics I got 92 percentile in physics attempt, 90 percentile in chemistry, 98.99 percentile in mathematics, overall 96.78 percentile , should I take double drop targeting iiitH cse or nit T cse or take admission in gfti cse?
